Tick-Tock, Bitches

With Hanna gone, the first thing the group had done was rush back to Rosewood to go to the police. On the way they had called Emily to let her know, and Emily had told them that Alison had admitted herself to a psychiatric hospital because of the things she had been seeing

Truthfully Lily did think maybe Alison needed help, but given that Hanna had been taken from them with three people near her, she didn't feel safe about what A.D. could do to Alison if she was all alone

But right now she was too preoccupied with their time sensitive mission to report Mrs D to the cops "Toby, you speak cops. You should do the talking." Aria suggested as they approached the station

"Wait, Toby, your job is on the line here." Spencer said "Are you sure that you wanna be a part of this?"

"Are you serious, Spencer?" Caleb scoffed "Hanna's life is on the line."

"When you asked me for my help, I said I was all in. I still am." Toby answered Spencer, ignoring Caleb

"Alright, we're wasting time. Let's go." Caleb said

"Guys, hold up." Mona exclaimed and they looked at her to find that her gaze was fixed on someone approaching the station too. Mrs D

"Alison's not the only one seeing ghosts tonight." Aria whispered

"Maybe she wasn't seeing ghosts at all." Ezra replied

"Unless we're under a body-snatcher invasion that's a real person." Emily said

"When they dug up Mrs. D in my backyard she wasn't just a little bit dead she was rotting-corpse dead." Spencer added

"Whoever the hell that is, she was at the Lost Woods tonight." Lily said "If she's a part of this, she knows where Hanna is' and I will beat the truth out of her if I have to."

"No, no, no, you can't just walk in there and start throwing punches." Toby hissed "Just, just give me a minute. Let me find out why she's here. And who she is or what she is."

Lily reluctantly agreed, so Toby made his way inside the police station and Lily wrapped her arms around herself, unsure if the chills she could feel were from the cold or fear. Jason clearly could see this and he wrapped his arm around her too, letting her rest her head on his shoulder

"It's okay," he whispered "We'll get Hanna back, I promise"

"Don't make promises you can't keep" she replied sadly

Toby wasn't gone for more than 5 minutes before he had come back and they all waited anxiously for his explanation

"She's Jessica's twin, Mary Drake." he explained "From the Radley file. She's Charlotte's biological mum."

"So why're we still standing here?" Caleb asked "She thinks Hanna killed her daughter. She's A.D."

"Maybe." said Toby "But she's one step ahead of us. "She just bought the Lost Woods and she's in there filing a report about a break-in."

"By us." Ezra sighed

"Damn it."

The phones of all five girls beeped in unison, so they nervously pulled them out

"A lie for a lie, an eye for an eye."

"The bell tolls for Hanna."

"A.D."

As if on cue, the bell of the Rosewood church began to ring and they all jumped in fear. But they could not waste a second, so they tore towards the church and the sight inside horrified all of them. Dangled in the bell ropes, was a familiar mess of blonde hair

"Hanna!"

"No!"

The group sprinted up the stairs as fast as they could and Caleb reached the ropes first, so with the help of Toby they pulled the body free and placed it on the wood.
