*one month later*
Harry stands in front of the D.A.
"we've been doing so well, i'd thought we'd work on some defensive spells tonight." he says
"we are going to be working on our Patronus Charm tonight. its very simple. you think of the happiest moment in your life, wave your wand and say 'Expecto Patronum'." he says
everyone breaks off by themselves and begins attempting the charm.
i was struggling to think of my happiest memory. what could it be? the first time i met Draco? no, he made my life hell back then.
and then i knew it. a month ago today i got this beautiful necklace, that i still haven't taken off.
i thought of him handing me the box and the joy i felt when he told me it was his family heirloom
"Expecto Patronum" i whisper
a blue light comes from my wand and a tiger begins prancing around the room. everyone stops what they're doing to gaze at my tiger.
"very good Vanessa!" Harry says
i watch it prance around before i hear a loud crack and Dobby is standing beside me.
"Mr. Harry Potter!" Dobby yells frantically
"what is it, Dobby?" Harry asks
"she-" Dobby begins but stops horrified
"who, Dobby?" Harry asks again
Dobby simply shakes his head
"is it Umbridge?" Harry asks
Dobby nods and Harry looks up terrified.
Harry immediately jumps into action "get out! now!" Harry yells at everyone
everyone rushes madly to the door Harry, Ron, Hermione and i usher them all out and when we thought it was safe we exited as well
we all head in separate directions, i chose to go right towards Ravenclaw Tower.
i suddenly feel myself freeze in mid-walk
"you have been caught, Miss Wilde." Umbridge says walking around to where i could see her, with an evil grin plastered on her face
suddenly i heard a very familiar voice from behind me
"got you, Potter! over here Professor, i've got one!" Draco announces excitedly
Umbridge unfreezes me and takes me by the collar of my shirt, dragging me towards Draco and Harry
"seems i have as well" she says
Draco looks up and is whole face drains of color. he just stares at me with wide eyes
"on your feet Potter, we're going to the headmaster!" Umbridge screamed
Umbridge turns to Draco "search everywhere for the others, Draco. round them all up. check everywhere, bathrooms, the library, empty classrooms. we must find them!"
Draco nods, looks at me one last time, before hurrying off to do what Umbridge told him to.
Umbridge grabs Harry by the collar as well and drags us in the direction of Dumbledore's office
Umbridge shoves Harry and i into Dumbledore's office, which is filled with people, may i add.
McGonagall, Cornelius Fudge, Kingsley Shacklebolt, another Auror, and Percy Weasley stood around Dumbledore's desk.
"you may be High Inquisitor of this school, Professor Umbridge, but kindly do not manhandle my students." Dumbledore says folding his arms together
