Aurora's POV

"Thank you. I haven't tried Thai food before." I commented honestly as I took the plastic bags.

"Really? I thought you had tried it when you told me your grandma was Thai. So I bought the food to enjoy it together as two people who have Thai roots."

"No, I haven't. However, I wouldn't mind to try it." I said warmly.

"Great!" He gave me a warm smile and took the packages out of the plastic bags.

We started having lunch while chatting. He was telling me about his younger brother, Mason who was in trouble with their parents because the paparazzi caught him making out with two girls. From his words, I guessed his brother was an incorrigible womanizer looking like someone I knew.

I saw Liam yesterday when he visited his mother at the fashion house. He wanted to talk to me after talking to Serena, but I lied telling him I had to give files to Serena urgently. However, I wouldn't be able to run away from him so much because he was attending the charity gala as well; so tomorrow evening I was going to see him. I was sure he would try to talk to me at the event.

Liam's POV

As soon as I walked into the venue where was being hosted a charity gala, I looked for Aurora. I gritted my teeth in frustration as I saw Aurora talking to that Logan guy. Every time when I went to the fashion house, I saw them together. Moreover, my mother couldn't stop praising him. I didn't know what was special in this guy. He was just a random rich guy appearing out of nowhere, nothing more.

I was sipping my champagne in frustration while staring at Logan and Aurora. He hadn't left her side for a second.

"Who are you planning to kill?" My friend, Nicole asked mischievously, interrupting my thoughts as she approached me.

I heaved a loud sigh and shook my head. "I didn't know you were coming."

"I have already regretted coming." She sighed and gestured to Lucca Rodriguez; he was our brothers' friend and a famous Formula 1 driver. He was talking to Charlotte Wright, his crush.

"You have to move on, Nicole." I gave her a sympathetic look. Nicole was in love with Lucca, but it wasn't mutual.

"Do you think it is easy?" She raised her eyebrow and sipped her champagne.

"No, I don't." I sighed sadly and looked at Aurora who was still talking to Logan. I gritted my teeth in annoyance and turned my gaze from her to Nicole.

"Would you like to dance with me? I think it will be better if we have fun like the others." I stated firmly, emphasizing the word-others, and extended my hand towards her after placing my glass on the table.

"Yes. You are right. Let's have fun." She nodded as she put the flute on the table after finishing her drink in a sip and held my hand.

Once Aurora noticed me dancing with Nicole, she gave me a dirty look, clenching her fist. I smirked, self-satisfied.

I can have fun too, sugar.

I gritted my teeth in frustration as Logan leaned towards her ear and said something, resting his hand on her lower back.

"Liam! You are hurting me." Nicole warned me, trying to pull her hand away.

I gave her a questioning look and looked our hands. "Oh, sorry." I gave her an apologetic look as I noticed I was squeezing her hand tightly and loosened my grip slightly.

"Are you okay?" She asked, concerned.

I sighed and looked at Aurora and Logan. After finishing telling her something, Logan walked away as he pulled his phone out of his pocket.
