SYPNOSIS
The grim tale of Amara Jheung wasn't as special as it was believed to be. Truthfully, she just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
If she tried, she could still recall the smell of burning flesh clouding the air, mixed with the sharp sounds of cracking and popping surrounding her foggy brain like smog. The burning sensation in her lungs as they inhaled a grotesque smoke, just as her body began to turn into this bright, sweltering spectacle of fire. The pads of her fingers turning into ash, with her last few moments spent in agonizing pain.
This was all a product of the Hale fire that left eleven people dead. Though, there were five bodies that never turned up. Survivors.
Alan Deaton had made a promise to Talia Hale, and he didn't intend to break it. So, when six presumed dead Hales showed up in his clinic, he knew that he'd have to protect them at all costs.
The surviving Hales, including Cora, were taken to an underground cellar located in the Beacon Hills Preserve. They were meant to find Laura and Derek, who had ran away when enough time had passed and they could escape Beacon Hills without raising any suspicion.
