You don't have to read this obviously, though i do want to address something that has been bothering me. So, Aku and Atsu are both children, and they're very clingy and very caring towards each other. I just want to make sure everyone knows that I'm NOT shipping children. Maybe no one has even thought about their dynamic in this fic like that, but I'm the type of person who cares way too much about what people think about me. But there is a reason for why they act like this.
Due to their collective trauma, they resonate with each other. And i also added a sprinkle of my own childhood. In short: me and my best friend were like that when we first met, we also had nicknames for each other. So i just thought that that was the way most children were. I dunno.
Anyway, sorry i just wrote this to make me feel better. :,)
