The Lord loves a truthful tongue, he doesn't like when we lie. At some pointed time in our Christian walk we lie don't we? We shouldn't because it's not pleasing to the Lord. Sometimes we even lie for the simplest of things that were not necessary for lying, while others just grew up in a home where lying was the normal thing to do, it's like saying nobody got hurt so it's alright.
It's not alright to lie, once one lie has been told you will have to tell another, then another and it continues. Each time a lie is told another has to be told to cover up the first lie. The Bible says the truth shall set you free so at all times remember the Lord Loves a truthful tongue. If Lying is your weakness; pray about it, if you are willing to change Jesus will help you. Just be humble enough to approach him, ask him for forgiveness and mercy and his never failing hand to help you and he will. Sometimes it takes more than just a one time prayer but it takes a consistent prayer to help.
Just be true and faithful to approach your master Christ and he will do the rest. Be blessed.
