Are we human
Are we human?
Or are we monsters
fighting these battles
old wars ignited by our ancestors.
Are we human?
Or are we numb souls
unable to feel for one another
because of race, religion and want; This want for money, this want for power
what are these wants we kill for
which once we get
we just kill more.
Are we human?
Or are we cancers
destroying our world slowly
coldly, unholy.
Where is our humanity?
The equality?
The colors of our skins must not matter
the God we pray to, should this really matter?
The sounds of our laughter
the blood in our veins
the way you feel pain
the other man feels the same.
We must realize that we are one
quraan or bible
black or white
president or no title
We are all human.
