Chapter three// Flirting

Soon Tutiri woke up and saw that Jake was already staring at her.

She smiled and got up.

"Not even a good morning?"

"Come on why would I say good morning when you don't know my name?"
I lifted my eyebrow in his direction.

"Um..."

"It's Tutiri, Jakesully"
I smiled towards him.

"Oh right."

"Follow me jake sully. Today I shall leave you with someone to teach you our language and we may bump into each other after. Okay?"

"Okay Tutiri" he tested the name on his tongue.

I got out of the hammock and waited for Jake to wobbly follow behind.

We walked towards the clan for some breakfast.

This time no one stopped what they were doing as Jake walked past.

"Father, mother, I see you" I greeted my parents.

Tsu'tey was nowhere to be seen. I didn't think much of it as I grabbed some food and jake got his.

We sat down in the gap in the middle and began eating.

"I forgot to mention something jake. If you complete catching an ikran in a few days then you shall become part of our clan" she smiled in his way, knowing he had no idea what that meant.

He went along with it anyways.
"Yes ma'am"

Soon we had finished eating and I started walking to a group of women.

"This is Jake, remember who I told you about? May you train him to speak our ways?"

The women looked jake up and down before nodding slightly.

"Thank you."

"Jake I will see you later."

He nodded, a little unsure of this idea.

I needed to get away a little so I went to my favourite spot, the tree of souls. I hoped my sister would tell me what she thought about Jake.

I grabbed my queue and connected it to a root.

Lots of whispers sounded as my ears twitched.

"I trust you my sister" a voice spoke out.

I stood in shock for a moment before taking my queue off of the root and sitting down near the tree.

I grabbed a flower close by and started peeling off the petals.

Soon I looked up to see Jake standing there.

"Are you okay?" He asked, sorry laced in his voice.

"Yes, but let's go. I will talk about this place another time."

I got up quickly and ran in front, laughing.

I was starting to warm up to Jake.

I touched a plant above my head and turned around to see Jake smiling towards me before he started chasing after me.

He laughed too as he poked a plant.

I turned to him and smiled.
We shared a moment. I don't know what it was.

What was I thinking? I couldn't possibly mate this skywalker.

I turned and walked away, grabbing onto a tree branch and jumping on the tree.

Jake tried his best but failed and landed on the ground with a thud.

I looked over the tree and laughed.

"Are you okay?" I said while laughing still.

He looked at me laughing too.

I got up and ran away while Jake was trying his best to keep up.

Soon I jumped down from the tree and turned to Jake who was trying to catch his breath.

"Why are you so fast." He said out of breath.

I smiled again and walked towards the clan.

Tsu'tey was there. Still staring daggers into Jake.

He grabbed me by the arm and took me outside where no one could hear us.

Jake followed closely.

"I don't like you near him" he spoke in English on purpose.

"Hey, leave her alone."
He growled to him.

I snatched my arm back before Tsu'tey jumped at Jake and pushed him to the floor.

Jake stood up and pushed him back, now fighting for domination.

"Stop!" I shouted in their direction.

I walked away from the two.
