Turning the flour into dough, putting water to boil and creating a broth, the smell takes over the guild. "I'll buy whatever you're cooking y/n," Max says, running up but in a shoving battle with Warren, "I'll double it for a plate." They continue, "I was here first," they say with hands on their faces with jet and droy joining in.

Till they're knocked out of the way. "If she's gonna give a plate to anybody, it should be a real man!" says Elfman. But he's knocked away too, "wrong! She should give the food to her big brother, " Natsu says with a fist up.

Till I turn while needing the dough, "Sorry guys, there's not enough for all of you and Natsu you already ate," I say as they walk away in disappointment. After rolling the dough out, I cut it into strips, dropping them in boiling water and then taking them out when they're just right resting them in ice water.

After draining them, I separate the noodles in 5 different bowls. Then I pour in the broth, adding an egg for the final touch. "Done!" I say in a cheerful voice. As I turn to Hikari, who is sitting next to Grey, I put the bowl in front of her, and she quickly digs in. "Thank you, Mommy," she says as I smile, looking at her stuff her face.

"Happy, Rio, Lucy, come eat," I say, placing two more bowls as they rush over. Happy and Rio split one. Lucy squeals with her hands, praying. "Thank you, y/nnnnn!!" She says before breaking her chop sticks.
"Hey, how come they get some?" Natsu says, marching back, trying to swip Lucy's plate. "Beat it, Natsu," Lucy says, elbowing him as he falls after getting hit.

Grey looks at Hikari eating and turns away when his stomach grumbles. I put a bowl in front of him as he looked at me in shock. "Consider it a thank you you know....for helping me save Hikari," I say, avoiding eye contact. "Uh, thank you," I hear him, but I get angry in shyness as I eat my bowl of noodles in annoyance.

Elfman and the others watch in jealous tears as the guild laughs.

"I'm full," let out Happy in a sigh, leaning against Rio, who burps in response. "Yea, no kidding, every time you cook reminds me how grateful I am, you're my roommate," says Lucy, walking over with their bowls as im washing mine. "That was so good," Hikari says in a smile as Grey wipes her face.

"Also y/n it's getting dark out. What's gonna happen with Hikari? " Lucy asks, drying off the bowls I just washed. I stop scrubbing, realizing what she said. "She'll stay with us. My bed is big enough for the both of us," I say after continuing to wash. "If that's what you want, it's fine with me," she supports before I hand her the last bowl.

Drying off my hands, I take off the apron and let my hair down again. "You should keep it up more often," was said, but I was lost in thought as I turned the direction it came from. It was that damn Frosty. "Did you say something?" I ask, but he turns away as I shrug it off, walking out the bar to Hikari.

"Come on Hikari, you'll stay with me tonight," I say, putting out my hand so she can take it. She hops off the stool and grabs my hand but doesn't walk when I begin to, causing me to stop and turn back. "What about Daddy?" she asks. "Uh" is all I say, not knowing how to respond before looking up.

"I have a-aaaaa-a! job to do at night so I can't go, " he says, standing up, walking to Hikari, kneeling down, patting her head "ill see you tomorrow, k. " he continues with a reassured smile. "No, come with us, Daddy," she lets go of my hand, wrapping her arms around Grey as she begins to cry.

I stand frozen. "H-hey, don't cry. I'll walk with you till you're home. How does that sound?" he suggests awkwardly, making her look at him. She sniffs and nods. "But no crying when I have to leave alright," he says, sternly lifting her up as she whips her tears before resting her head on his chest. "Ok, daddy," she lets out.

He walks next to me with her in his arms as i snap out of it. "We'll see you guys tomorrow," I say before walking out with him. "Who knew Grey had a gentle side?" Levy says, walking to Lucy, who is gathering her things. "Tell me about it, but we know why he's acting different," she winks. "Oh yea," Levy agrees, winking back.

Walking to the apartment, it's silent. "She fell asleep," Grey says as I turn to look at the little girls exhausted face. I finally let out a sigh, "I froze back there... Thanks for calming her down this whole thing -" I stop starting to doubt myself. "It's fine. i didn't exactly know how to respond either," he says, reassuring me as I look at him, looking straight ahead.

Finally, we reach the apartment, "Come on, Hikari were here," I say, grabbing her from Grey's arms. He lets go helping a bit. "Bye daddy," she waves looking over my shoulder as I turn walking in. "Thanks for walking with us," I say before closing the door.

Inside, i put her down. "Why don't we give you a bath, Hikari?" I say, holding her hand as we walk to the bathroom. While I filled up the tub and placed her in, while I changed to my night clothes. I hear Lucy walk in with Rio. "We're home!" Rio yells. "I'm in here!" I yell back from the bathroom after rinsing Hikari's hair.

"So cute, I'll get you a towel," Lucy says before she runs off. Pulling her out after Lucy brings the towel, i give her one of my shirts to sleep in. "It's too big, mommy," she giggles as I smile. I left her on the bed playing with Rio after I dried her hair. Lucy made tea as I sat across from her, pulling out an old outfit before cutting.

"What are you doing?" Lucy questions. "Hikari needs new clothes. I can't let her wear that worn-out piece of cloth," I say, tossing a small dirty dress away.
"I forgot you can sow," Lucy says, moving to her desk, pulling out a piece of paper and feather.

Taking an old white shirt, I cut around it so it will be Hikari's size. Sowing it, it becomes a cute white dress. I smile happily, setting it down as Lucy finishes her writing. we're ready to sleep. Pulling the sheets, I climb into bed as Hikari crawls next to me. Hugging me goodnight, she falls asleep before Lucy can turn off the lights.

'I don't even wanna take you into town tomorrow... heh, sorry Erza but it's to late...I'm attached'

I think looking at the child snuggled up next to me I dose off.
