Your pov

Bella darted to my bed. I walked to my room soaking wet. I found her shaking in my blankets. I quickly changed into sweats and joined her.

"Bella"

She peaked her head out of the blanket

"What?"

"You scared?"

"N-no"

"Hey it's ok, c'mere"

She lays on top of me and burries herself into my body. She flinched when the thunder shook the house. Truth is she's scared but wants to be seen as strong. We lay there for hours until it came to dinner time. Cissa nor Andy could make my wife get off me. They did promise to bring us food when they came back.

"Why so frightened Bels?" I ask softly

"Flashbacks" she mumbled

I knew exactly which ones. All the years she spent in Askaban alone and almost losing me to him.

"It's ok baby I've got you"

Just then our pup Trish walked in and jumped on the bed. Tish layed next to Bella knowing she was anxious.

"Good girl Tish" I smile

Bella looked at the small creature and started to pet her black fur. At some point my wife and puppy fell asleep to the soft rain on the glass.

"Sleep well my darling"

A/n: I just met my aunts puppy who is a black lab and adorable. But now I'm going to nap. So that's this one
