Sitting in a cafe
My eyes look away
A crowd of people going their way
I drank my coffee and decided to stay.
Noises from busy people
I can't help but feel little
We're like dust
Can be gone in a blink if it's a must.
My eyes
Looking back and forth
Caught you in a glimpse
What a surprise!
Saw you, despite the billions of people around the earth
I tried not to stare
Can't help because you're there.
You kept on walking
In a trance, I kept staring
As the rays of the sun hit you
You smiled and my heart started racing, it was inevitable
I smiled, god, I felt so vulnerable.
You suddenly turned
My stomach suddenly churned
Our eyes met
I can feel the sudden sweat
My heart skips a beat
Can't sit properly in my seat.
Can feel people's stare
But give no care
I glanced back
But lost you on the track.
Feel depressed
Can't help but sulk in a corner
It made me feel obsessed
Yet can't help but adore her.
What's your name?
Can't help but start the guessing game
With that beauty, are you a god?
Can't compare with someone like myself who's flawed.
I silently pray
That if a god may
If fate allows
I'm willing to make vows
Give me a second chance
To have another glance
Glimpse of You
