Finding the sleeping quarters was easier than you thought. You had asked a random soldier on duty and were simply told about the buildings surrounding the one you were in. Two of them held housing for the 7th division. Yours happened to be to the left of the main building, the one you were in, on the second floor.

The room was a gigantic rectangle with rows of bunk beds lining the longer walls. There were sizable gaps between each bunk and row, and every bunk had a chest set at the end of it. You could only assume it was meant for personal belongings. The only problem was that each chest was locked and every bed was perfectly made. You had no clue which beds were open for the taking.

Walking over to a random bed you sighed and sat down.

"What are you doing?"

Your body jolted at the sudden monotone voice coming behind you.

Quickly looking over at the source you stared in shock at a soldier, "Oh sorry, is this your bed?"

You took a moment to take in his appearance, pale skin, jet black dull eyes, a thin beard confined between the ends of his lips, and two symmetrical scars marking his cheeks. His hair was styled in military fashion on the sides and unregulated long hair on top, a loose strand of hair hung tauntingly in front of his face before he brushed it back, only for it to fall out again. Yet another attractive man.

"Yes," his blank stare made you smile nervously as you stood up.

"Then I guess I could go on top?"

You went to reach for the top bunk only for him to shake his head, "That ones taken."

You scratched your neck embarrassed and pointed to the bunk bed beside his, "Then how about this one?"

"Taken."

Anxiously chewing on the inside of your mouth, you pointed at the bunk on the other side, "Then-"

"Taken."

You took a deep breath to calm your growing impatience and pointed to a bunk across from his, "This one must be-"

"Occupied," His face held a small mocking smile, clearly enjoying your desperate attempt to find a bed.

You growled and stormed over to a bunk across and to the left of his. Angrily staring into his eyes you extended your arms dramatically at it, "This one!?"

He went to open his mouth before closing it. Finally feeling triumphant, you went to climb into the bottom bunk.

"Top one," his voice dripped with contempt.
