"Cam you don't know how fucking amazing this is." I tell her as we enter the spa. Her mom owns it, her mom is insanely rich and smart with her money.
She smiles, heading to the desk. She orders a six hour session for Hope and I. The boys are all together, exploring Paris, while we have our girl time. This is amazing, my parents travel all the time but pretty much never ever brought Elle and I there ever.
I can't wait until Elle is old enough and I can bring her here one day. The lady hands Camryn three bags and a keycard. "We are going to relax and get pretty for tonight. I have three grand surprises!" She practically jumps up and down as she hands us the tote bag.
"Follow me." She begins walking and we follow her. I wonder what her three surprises could be. "So I need all the tea spilled. Like now." Both Hope and Cam look my way as we enter a change room.
I shrug, placing the tote bag on the bench and going through it. "We are talking about you," Hope adds, as if I didn't know. I take out the robe from the bag and begin undressing.
I shrug with a small smile. "I know that look!" Cam yells. "Shhhh!" Hope and I both shush her and she laughs. "Come on, tell us." Cam is only encouraging me to speak more.
"Yes, Grey and I have been getting close again," I answer her question while smiling. "I don't know what's happening if I'm being honest. We haven't discussed it, I'm just enjoying it right now." I know that sounds bad.
Cam gives me a stern look. "What?" I question her facial expressions as she puts on the robe.
I take the slippers out of the bag and replace my shoes and socks with them. "Is there better communication, has he stopped leaving constantly, stopped insulting you?" She bombardles me with a hundred questions.
I nod. "There has been. Better communication, he promises again not to leave-" Cam scoffs before I can finish. She places her hands on my shoulders. "I'm serious Cam, and he hasn't insulted me since like last year. All old shit," I reassure her.
She sighs. "Okay, I believe you. But Grey should've been on his last straw, months ago. If he hurts you again, you leave. No it's buts or anything. Don't think because Grey is the only guy you've been with that there isn't anyone else out there."
I think about her words for a second. She's right. I find comfort in the familiar with Grey. I haven't actually been with any one except for him. Even though that is true, I don't want to do the - what's your favourite colour - with anyone. Starting over.
I know I shouldn't. But my eyes are stuck on him. I'm stuck on him.
"You're right," I tell her. "One more fuck up and he's gone." I make it as clear as possible. Cam and Hope both share a look before laughing. I roll my eyes, "fuck you guys. I mean it."
Cam wraps me in a hug. "I'm just looking out for you. I can't watch what he did to you, all over again." I hug her back. "Now... Milk baths!"
We've been soaking in the milk bath for about ten minutes now. We're just catching up, talking about everything in life. Cam is still in school but managed to get her name written in a magazine as the Top Ten Future Fashion Designers, ranking #2.
Her so-called arch nemesis is first.
I'm proud of her on so many levels. "Okay I can't wait. I need to tell you guys first!" She bites back a smile before taking out her phone and showing us a picture.
The first thing I notice are her fresh long pink acrylic nails. "They're cute." I comment. She shakes her phone in my face and I take a better look. I still don't get it?
