"You're with George?!" Para akong binuhusan ng malamig na tubig ng sabihin ko iyon.

"Is there a problem with that? Oh, she knows, don't worry."

"Ivah!" I growl at her tsaka inis na pinatay na ang tawag.

Nang balingan si Emir ay ngingisi na siyang nakatuon sa akin, with an amuse face I bet that she's enjoying this so much!

Ni hindi man lang siya nahihiya!

"Stop smiling, will you?" Inis na saad ko sa kanya. Imbis na sagutin ako ay agad niyang pinatakan ng iilang halik ang pisnge ko. She was able to lift me a bit para mapapalapit lalo sa kanya.

"Emir! Ivah and George are downstairs already!"

"We could make them wait for 10 minute tops, Selena." Natatawa niyang saad habang itinutuloy ang mga halik, mas lalong lumalalim bawat sandali.

"Oh god! Stop! Where is your shame?!"

"Oh, Ivah could watch us if she wants. Para lang alam niyang akin ka." I gasp at her when I heard her remarks na mas lalong nagpatawa sa kanya as if my reaction was something to be expected.

Marahan ko siyang itinulak papalayo sa akin just so I could see her face and how serious she is.

"Are you jealous at Ivah?!" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko sa kanya. As if that question hint something inside of her na nawala ang saya sa mukha niya.

"I didn't say anything like that." She whispers as she look away from me. Dahil sa ginawa ay mas lalong hindi ko kinagat ang sinabi niya.

"You're jealous of Ivah?! Emir are you for real?!"

"Oh! Shut up, baby. I'm gonna take a bath!" Inis na niyang saad. The scowl on her face makes the smile on my lips wider. Hindi mapigilan ang mapang-asar na ngiti sa akin habang mas lalong nalukot ang mukha niya.

Kunot-noo siyang umalis ng kama at dire-diretsong pumasok ng shower. Not even batting an eye and looking back at me.

So, now I know something new from her. It never occur to me anyway. Iyon lang pala ang paraan para mapatigil at mapatayo siya mula sa kama! I should take note of that next time.

"I'll fetch you later at around 4 PM. It's an hour's drive away so I think that will be a reasonable time." Tumango-tango pa ako kay Ivah as I read through the invitation letter and the guest list that was provided for us bago sumimsim sa kapeng hawak.

We were gathered in my living room having some takeaways for brunch. George is beside me, holding her iPad while taking note of some of Ivah's revision sa mga susunod na araw kong schedule. Emir was on the adjacent side of me, tahimik na iniinom ang kape rin niya.

After our conversation in my room, hindi na muli siya nagsalita. She was rather avoiding my gaze as if she's been found guilty of something.

Nang muli kong sipatin si Emir sa aking gilid at nagtama ang paningin namin ay agad-agad siyang nag-iwas ng tingin. I look at her for a good second before handling the invitation back to George.

"I'm confident you have something that will fit the motif, right? After all, this is your taste. Hollywood extravaganza." Huling komento ni Ivah na ikinairap ko naman ng mata.

"I have everything in my closet, Ivah." Pagkukumpirma ko sa kanya na agad niyang tinanguan.

"Are we all settled? Let me know if you still have any concerns with your schedule next week. I also made your Fridays vacant dahil doon laging available ang president for the company meeting para sa event natin sa September." I nod at her as she explains to me the main events for September.
