The life of (Y/n) (L/n) is rather quite a boring one, nothing interesting ever happens. She desperately wanted something more out of this dull life.

She plops down in her chair, after getting off of work. Just like every other day she woke up, worked, went back home, and went to sleep.

It was raining outside, just like every other day. Always dark and gloomy, perhaps that's how she saw life now. There was hardly any sunshine where she lived, making the days all blend.

She sighs listening to the radio, it played a cheerful song. Excitement fills her body as her phone begins to ring. She jumps up, her face growing a smile, and runs over to the table to answer it.

"Hello?" She asked trying to force the excitement out of her voice.

"Hello (Y/n)! How have you been?" It was her best friend (B/F/N).

"It's been..." She pauses with a frown, "It's been okay, how about you?" She shakes the frown away and forces a smile hoping that it made it sound more believable.

"I've been good! You sure your okay? You paused." (B/F/N) asks, (Y/n) sighs. There was no point in lying to her friend.

"No, my life just seems so boring lately like every day is the same. I wish my life had a little adventure." As soon as the words left her mouth a painful static began to play. In the background her radio changed its tune, to a mind-numbing song.

"Hello? (B/F/N)?" (Y/n) groans in annoyance.
"Stupid phones, I knew that these were a waste of money."

"Hey, Pal." A deep yet oddly musical voice said, (Y/n) jumps.
"H-hello?"

"You seem quite bored, I can fix that." Was someone listening to her?

"W-who are you?" She asked fear shaking her voice.
"Someone who can make all your troubles disappear, what do you say pal?"

Was this guy serious..? No, he couldn't be, right? This is insane, even more so that she was considering.

"P-prove it." She attempted to sound commanding but failed. The man let out a raspy chuckle.
"Oh my dear, that's not how trust works." She pauses, he was right.

She pauses and takes a breath. She was hallucinating, right?

A shady man called her and told her that he could give her everything she ever wanted. He was shady everything about this screamed for it to not be trusted, but she needed something in her life.

"Okay, what do I do?"

"Just wait my dear." The static seemed to cut out, and her radio in the background went back to normal.

"(Y/n)?" It was her friend again.
"(Y/n), hello?"

"(B/F/N) you would not believe what just happened I-"

Something crawls around which is just barely visible out of the corner of her eyes.

She stops and turns around. Two black shadow hands moved towards her, and she froze.

"What the-" They grab onto her making her drop the phone, they lift her off the ground.

She screams as a black and white portal opens up underneath her. The hands pull her down into it.

"Be careful what you wish for."
