Snow days, everyone has to love them, just a little bit. I personal love them, i find them very enjoyable but also very cold, i love the aftermath of having a warm hot chocolate by the fire watching christmas movies.

My daughter, y/n. Hasn't actually witnessed snow yet, she's only two years old and the last time it snowed, i was pregnant with her so she's never actually touched snow and been in it.

She's seen on tv and movies, videos and youtube all the fun stuff you can do in snow, like build a snowman or make snow angles and she's been dying to do them but unfortunately i cant just whip out some snow from my backside.

So, when i woke up this morning and looked out the window seeing it was layered with snow, i almost screamed, not even for me, for Y/n. My baby girl was about to witness snow for the first time in her life.

I'm about to get so many photos today and my storage is going to be full. The first thing i done after getting out of bed was turn on the heating. I wrapped myself up in my dressing down and tied my hair back to keep it out my face before making my way downstairs, to turn the heating on.

After making sure the house was warming up, i came back upstairs and entered my daughters room. I found her right up against the railing of her crib cuddled in with a blanket.

I was working on getting her big girl bed set up, it was actually in the corner of the room in cardboard boxes but i'm waiting on some help to build it up for her, so now she's still in her crib.

I very carefully rolled the railings down and held her head, moving it onto the mattress so she didn't fall off the bed. She stirred around a bit, letting a small whine pass her lips and through her pacifier and clutched tightly onto her bunny.

"Y/n, time to wake up" I sang softly stroking the top of her hair and wiping the small drool that was falling from her lips, she turned her head with a long whine followed by some kicks of her feet

"i know baby" I coped sadly kissing the side of her cheek as she sulks but finally opens her eyes, her eyes are already filled with tears as she continues to whine

"hey there" I coo again stroking my thumb up and down her cheek, she goes silent for a moment before realising her morning cries and holding her small hands out to me for me to pick her up

"Ma-ma" She cried making her usual grabbing hands, i lift her out her crib holding her close to my chest and patting her diapered bottom as she cries into my shoulder

"such a hard life huh" i coo again moving to stand up and bring her back to my bedroom where i keep all her stuff for the time being until we finish up her new bedroom. I lay her down on my bed which erupts more cried and even some loud screams from her tiny lungs

"Alright, i hear you sweetheart" I chuckle coming back over to her with the stuff i need and placing i beside her head. I start by unbuttoning her night wear and slipping that off her leaving her in her diaper.

"Mama put clothes on NOW!!!" My daughter screams at me, her small cute chubby face turning red with angry. I try everything in me to try not to laugh at how funny she was so i turn around laughing silently as she continues to kick and scream at me

"Sweetheart, can you calm down for mama please" I ask calmly placing my hand on her tummy to stop her wriggling about, to my surprise she stopped screaming and just kept on crying out for me
