Raven, a young she-cat who lives as a loner, finds herself as a prisoner in ShadowClan. But this isn't any ordinary clan.. It's a clan that was taken over by rogues- lead by a tyrant. Tons of she-cats are captured in this place, abused and dominated...
I never thought it would be so cold out here! Raven thought to herself, a shiver running down her spine. It had been two sunrises since she had left the barn— wanting to go out to explore and adventure. The barn had always offered her warmth and shelter, and it was never this cold. Raven thought it was time to go back.
The prey in the pine forest had been scarce. Raven had eaten a small and scrawny mouse for breakfast, and it wasn't enough to fill her. She was never hungry at the barn. There was always mice to feed her. This wasn't the only thing that made her want to return, though.
She knew that the clan cats that inhabited the land weren't very fond of loners, and they would soon catch her scent. But Raven found it strange that they hadn't been sending out their daily patrols. When she found traces of other cats, it was prey bones left outside. And they had reeked of carrion and rogue, with little scent of ShadowClan. Raven didn't want to stay to find out what trouble this clan was having.

Raven got to her paws and left the warmth of her spot. She stretched, letting out a little mrrp sound as she began to walk into the direction of the thunderpath. She thought it would be wiser to go and hunt before she began her travel, so she opened her mouth and began to taste the air for any signs of prey. It took her a while, but she pin-pointed a thrush pecking at some seeds near the base of a bush just a few tail-lengths ahead of her. Raven fell into a hunting position, quietly stalking forwards.
The she-cat hesitated for a moment, unsure if she was close enough to leap incase the bird flew away. Behind her there was a sudden rustle in the bushes, the bird letting out a cry of alarm as it flew off. She caught a scent, one that made her fur spike. It was a rogue— or a ShadowClan cat scent? It was mingled. "Who are you and what do you want from me?" Raven hissed, digging her claws into the muddy ground.
"I don't know if you're aware, but you are trespassing on ShadowClan territory." The bush rustled once more and a large tom came out, followed by a smaller tom. "Are you a lost little kittypet?" He sneered. "You look fat enough to be one."
Raven curled her lip, baring her teeth. "I'm no kittypet, and I can prove it to you if I have to!" She snarled, lashing her tail. She was glaring at the tomcat. He was large and muscular, but it seemed as if he didn't like to groom himself. He was messy. They had a torn ear and a large nose scar.
"Feisty one, isn't she?" He snickered, the smaller tom letting out a snort. "Kestrelstar will be happy. Isn't that right, Larkclaw?"
"Yeah, Heronflight. He might forgive us for letting that little she-cat rat escape the last moon." Larkclaw was staring at Raven eagerly, as if she was a piece of fresh-kill. She let out a threatening hiss as he took a step forwards.
"You can't really insult others with the word 'rat', considering you are the size of one." Heronflight teased Larkclaw, distracting themselves for a few moments as they began to argue.
Raven took one step back. She was outnumbered and couldn't fight back. She looked around and tried to spot where she can run— but it was all surrounded in bushes. The only way out was through the tomcats. She made a run for it, pushing past them quickly.
The tomcats let out a startled yowl as she ran by them. She didn't stop to look back, but it didn't take her long to hear their footsteps thunder after her. Raven dug her claws into the ground, pushing herself to go faster. Blood was pounding in her ears as she continued to run. Suddenly, the ground under her vanished. She let out an earsplitting shriek, but it was cut off as her head hit a stone.
Everything was hurting, and she couldn't move properly. She opened her eyes, trying to focus her vision, but it was all blurred. She could hear the tomcats mew to each other, but she couldn't make what they were saying. Raven's vision began to black out, and soon there was nothing but darkness.
