"HOW? How do we motivate depressed and suicidal soldiers?"
"That's the neat part. We don't. "
Spade and Sands were meeting for their up tenth time, discussing warfare yet again.
They had gained support from Mr Bean and the School Counsel.
Many other students were willing to join too.
"How bout Jessie? We need her in our army for the crazy destructive power of hers but she only wants to heal. "
"She wants to heal the enemies too!!!!! " Spade hollered in exasperation.
"Sooooo do we kill her so she doesn't interfere with out plans?"
Sands suggested.
"Yes, we do."Spade agreed.
"But how?"
"Ah sh#t we can't " Sands said in anger.
"Wait, how about Melody? Jessie has a soft spot for the juniors of the school. Furthermore, I am her mentor which means I can send her to pursuade Jessie." Spade snapped.
"Perfection." Sand agreed.
And just like that, their masterplan was ready to be executed.
Spade called Melody over.
"Hi.., what's the matter?" Melody asked when she arrived.
"We are here to discuss some warfare. This over here, the speck of and is Clockstrings, Aka Sands, my best friend."
A few particles of sand were clustered together, forming a face.
"Well, hello there. " Sands greeted Melody.
Realisation struck Melody like a twenty pound sledgehammer. She gasped in shock. Memories came flooding in...
She recalled that day she saw the Alpha stab her brother..
He didn't bleed. He smiled, vanishing into little particles of sand softly muttering ,"I'll be right back."
As a eight year old, Melody had believed that he had died and he was just trying to comfort her.
Now, as a 13 year old, Melody finally understood. She realised that her brother had been right all along.. he never died.
He was just reduced into little sand particles.
Sands entered Melodies ear and whispered , " Don't tell Spade that we are siblings.. I want to see his confusion."
When Sands was out of melodies ears, Melody shrugged, acting as if nothing happened.
"Lemme guess... you want me to bug Jessie and force her to join the army?"
"Prescisely."
Melody chuckled, " I've already started. "
" so it's settled. Welp. I'm off to the space time corridor for training, bye!"Sands exclaimed as he vanished into thin air.
Melody turned to spade in confusion"space time what??"
