The Ceremony

We find Aspara outside in front of Bardock as he was FINALLY going to teach her how to fly

"So" Bardock instructed "It will be done by two steps, but because it's not really that difficult for us Saiyans, you should take the hang of it pretty quickly, but first of all, you will learn how to bring out your energy in the form of a ball of ki, so sit down on cross legs and bring your hands in front of you facing each other but with space between them"

Aspara did what she was told and sat on cross legs and brought her hands in front of her

"Good" Bardock praised "Now, you need to feel the ki inside your body and bring it out between your hands"

Aspara closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she tried to feel every fiber of her being when suddenly she found a warm feeling inside of her, she located it and tried to bring it out between her hands

It was few seconds later that Aspara opened her eyes to see that, effectively, between her tiny hands was a warm and decent size green ball of ki, HER ki

"Very good" Bardock noded, proud that she did it "It's your life energy or ki for short, you can do anything you want with it, make it disappear by just letting your muscle rest, expand it by putting more power into it, making it take any form you want like idk a weapon but it's really complicated so I advise you to try it later but that's about it or else of course you want to try your own set of attacks, witch I advise you when your more experienced but for now I advise you to stay on the kikoha and some other basic attack, you will learn more advanced technique at school"

"Cooool" Aspara murmured, her head already filling with all she could do with it as she expended and reduced her ball of ki "Can I throw it to see how powerful it is?" She asked her Father

"If you want" Bardock shrugged "Now, we can continue to the flying *BOOM* test, you have to focus on the energy inside of you and direct it under your feet so you can propulse yourself in the air"

Aspara again did as she was told and closed her eyes as she found her now familiar warm energy inside her and tried to direct it under her feet until she suddenly felt that she had no contact with the ground anymore, she opened her eyes and saw that she succeeded without much trouble. She then took several deep breaths, stabilizing herself in midair until she was at ease and went towards her Father while cheering "YAY! I did it" she said as she started to float in circles around him

Bardock nodded again "Good job, now you can fly, well... more like float for now but with a little bit of practice, I'm sure you will do it"

While Aspara was doing loopings in the air, Gine came outside "Bardock, honey, can you come back in the house? We have some 'work' to do~ And Aspara, can you go see King Vegeta to deliver a gift for him and come back in 3 hours?"

Bardock paled dramatically as Aspara stopped in mid-air and rose an eyebrow in curiosity, until she shrugged and nodded nonetheless as she picked up the gift and floated away

"Now honey..." Gine appeared beside Bardock, snatching him before he could fly away too and dragged him back into the house, ignoring the protest of the poor man

Some suspicious sounds was the only thing heard around the house for two hours straight

Bardock, Aspara and a 12 weeks pregnant Gine were preparing themselves to go to the ceremony in the Castle

"Are you ready for the big day, Aspara? It's a pretty big moment for you, you will be crowned a Super Elite, it's an great honor, I am proud of you" Gine said to Aspara with a worried and happy tone while hugging her
