Start from the beginning

-There's a rings in face, Aoki is laughing and so bright he could outshine whatever light the High Lord of Day can summon and he says "I was going to ask you tonight that's not fair!"

-And that's that. He takes Aoki's name and become Haru Kobayashi, and the male would have it no other way. Life is sweet and perfect. Until it isn't.

-It starts as boarder skirmishes. Haru doesn't remember the reason —nothing could ever justify what followed why they worsened, but soon enough reinforcements are called for and healers are needed.

-Haru is not there when it happens, he is utterly focused on reattaching some poor fae's leg, and there is no feasible reason as to how because they are not mates but he feels his soul cry out in grief.

-He knows in that moment, somehow, that Aoki is dead.

-There is no remember the following moments as anything other than an utter mess of grief. He finds himself in a general's tent somehow, demanding in a voice that is not his own for information he has not the rank to know.

-The general tells him anyway, because everyone who has met Aoki and Haru know they are not mates but-

-That hardly matters.

-Haru leaves the tent knowing, 4 things. His husband is dead. His body's whereabouts are unknown. But they took the soldier who killed him captive. And finally, he is at liberty to interrogate them.

-Healers put people back together. It what they do. They spend their lives studying and practicing to refine their work. But, what people often forget, is that to put something back together, you must know how to take it apart.

-Haru remembers a dim medical tent in a war camp. Remembers cutting open and taking apart a fae as fast as he stitched them back together. Haru Sasaki remembers the cries and pleads. He remembers a wrath unlike any other.

-He leaves that tent hours later, dressed in blood that is not his own, and leaves to retrieve his husband's body, now knowing exactly where it was.

-That was several centuries ago.

-Now, after plentiful help from a person who calls themself a mind healer, Haru is 1103, and he finds he can still be content life even if he is still sad at times.

-He has moved on from his husband, but he will never forget him. He doesn't want to. Aoki was a wonderful part of his life.

-These days, he is trying to put himself out there and accept offers of courting, or proposing them himself. But he wants to be certain he can love someone completely, because no one deserves anything less, so he takes things slow.

°Healing°

-His own health is always at it's prime and better than most fae, but of course his medical skills are undeniably his best asset.

-Even without his healing magic (which is a considerably large well expected of a head healer) he is practiced enough to know how to keep someone alive, given the proper resources of course.

°Communication°

-He has a face and voice that make you want to talk. Like a supportive grandmother.

-Very good at talking. Listening too. Has parental vibes.

-After reading ACOSF I feel the aggressive need to tell all of you that he knows how to preform a C-section.

-Has a snowy owl companion called Nathan. It is a fae beast, having long passed any reasonel life expectancy for it's kind. Also, Haru is rather certain the bird can talk, but he only says "who" in a human voice, and said his name once. It acts far too human(?)/fae(?) for comfort most the time.

-Contrary to the popular stereotype of doctors being terrible patients, Haru paces himself, always making sure to get his needed rest, and never skip a meal. And if a major injury is to befall him and he can not handle himself he will not hesitate to look for help. However, if it were an illness, he'd probably quarantine himself, since it'd have to be something rather deadly.

-Haru took the healers oath of doing no harm to others. When this oath is broken in anything other than self defence, the injury inflicted upon the victim will be mirrored on the healer's own body. Haru's body is covered in thin silvery scars, most likely done by a surgical blade.

-Is partial to jewels, rings in particular, even if he has to take them all off at work.

-Such a romantic. Or at least he was when it came to courting his husband. Very sweet and sappy.

-Treats humans at his private residence. Advocates for their rights. Contributes to them by giving away food, clothing, blankets, etc.
