I had just gotten home from work, Macey's waiting for me on the couch cause she says that we should eat together.
" I'm Home!" I yelled out.
I then heard footsteps run down the hall.
"You're home early." She told me.
"Well I didn't have anything planned after work so I thought i'd just stay here."
"So what's for dinner?" I asked her.
"I'll order some pizza because we don't have much in our fridge now."
"You didn't go grocery shopping?" I asked her.
"Nope I didn't have time." She replied to me.
"So how was work today?"
"It was fine..... I guess." I said calmly.
"Is something wrong?"
"No... nothing it's just that i'm just worn out."
"Ok.... I'll go order some pizza then."

*DINNER TIME*
"Pizza's here!" Macey yelled out.
"Alright! i'm coming..."
I then walked down the hallway and headed towards the kitchen. I saw the pizza and took a slice. We both then sat down on the table.
"Mike, I know something's bothering you c'mon just tell me."
"Alright.... fine i'll tell you."
"It's just because that Jamie hasn't called me since last week, and i'm worried about her."
"Mike, i'm sure she's fine, just calm down.. I know something that'll make you feel better."
"What?"
"Let's do some karaoke to help lighten up your spirit."
"No, i'm not good at singing." I replied to her.
"Oh come on its not like anyone's watching. Please Mike! I wanna do this because I also wanna spend time with you."
"Alright fine, after I finish my pizza."
"Okay! I'll get the karaoke readied."

We were both singing songs on top of our lungs, my voice even cracked a few times when we were singing, but we just laughed it off. To be honest though this kinda made me feel better.
"Macey, you know what."
"What?"
"I wanna sing a song that will describe what happened mostly today."
"What would that be?" She asked.
"Brokenhearted by Karmin." I replied.
"OMG! I love that song, we should sing it together."

"This is more than a typical kinda thing, felt the jones in my bones when you were touching me, uh oh didn't wanna take it slow."
'In a daze ,going crazy, I can barely think you're replaying in my brain find it hard to sleep, uh oh, waiting for my phone to blow.'
" Uh oh yep, now i'm here in a sticky situation got a little trouble, yep and now i'm pacing five minutes,ten minutes, now it's been an hour didn't wanna think too hard but i'm sour. Uh oh I can't seem to let you go."
'" See i've been waiting all dayyyyy, for you to call me babyyyyy, So let's get up let's get on it don't you leave me brokenhearted tonight come on that's right Honest baby i'll doooo anything you want toooo so can we finish what we started don't you leave me brokenhearted tonight, uh oh that's right uh cheerio."'
"Wow I love that song so much!" Macey exclaimed.
"Now why did you decide to sing that song anyway?" She asked me.
"Well since Jamie hasn't called me a single time today I feel kinda brokenhearted."
"Awwwwwww!, that's okay Mikey! I'm sure she's fine."
"Yeah, I keep thinking about that. I really hope that she's fine."
"Come on. It's 12:30 now we need to go to sleep."
"Okay. Goodnight."
"Night!"
