12. Don't hate me

The physician carefully searched for any possible external injuries first. But his eyes narrowed understanding the root cause behind the omega's bleeding wasn't any external injury but he is bleeding out due to something affecting him internally.

Half conscious Jimin now looked so pale and weak. It looks like his body is slowly giving up on his willpower to hold onto the situation and consciousness. The omega's tear-falling hooded eyes look into the alpha's eyes holding the most vulnerable look, the alpha ever saw in him. He understood the younger male is about to close his eyes from the way he barely look at him.

"Jimin-ah please stay with me...everything will be okay..please hang there...."

Park Jimin has let go of the alpha's robe only to hold the alpha's hand in his dangerously cold hands. The immense pain in his body had him already numbed but the courage in his heart made him keep his eyes though those are very closer to went close.

"H-hyung......."

The beta physician and alpha king both had looked at the omega. The alpha king felt the way his heart furiously beat when he sense something very wrong is about to happen. Jimin hasn't called him with this for years. But when he did alpha know he is not okay...

"Tell it precious"

The alpha king who hasn't ever called Jimin any other name than his own name naturally tells as his tongue casually slipped the word. If you asked why he doesn't call his mate sweet names...well that's because they belong to the royal family. The king can't love. He should be equal to everyone in the harem. So even with a name, he can't show more affection to certain one person.

"I-I n-never k-knew this....p-please d-don't h-hate me..my king. I couldn't protect----"

The weakly gasping omega has bearly muttered those few words as he makes the alpha's hands rest on his belly. And then he closed his eyes completely losing consciousness... falling into the slumber that he keeps avoiding the omega let his cheeks wet with the tears that pooled in his reddened eyes.

The room went into immediate silence for a few seconds until the alpha let a growl out under his breath hugging the omega's waist and pressing his face on his chest. 

The healer held the omega's wrist in a commotion to check the unconscious male's pulse. The beta male has opened his eyes. His whole face was darkened with terror. The alpha could see the way the physician's fingers trembling. But he has, again and again, checked the same detail like he is struggling to confirm what he felt before stating it.

The time beta took to talk made the furious alpha lose his sane.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM ?!"

"Tae Moo what is happening to him? Why don't you do anything to stop him from bleeding? Answer me, man. Why my Jimin doesn't open his eyes...why he is apologizing to me....?"

"Your highness---"
The beta healer has literally drawn a few steps back kneeling on the floor.

"His highness is pregnant. He is carrying"

It cost a few minutes for alpha to show any reaction before he opens his lips to say anything.

"W-what did you say? H-he is what?"

"I beg your pardon....but this is the truth. He has been carrying around six weeks..."

The beta healer lowered his head as he saw the pain washing over the alpha's face.

"B-but.......but the fetus is no m-more.....the unmatings rituals had made him lose it..."

"NOOOO!!!"
