So before we start this lore, I would like to say Y did undergo a redesign bc the original concept was literally an alternate universe Yasu Tigoka

Spy Designation Y. Peculiar.. or different some would say from the rest. Y was considered the first "Spy Designation" model. Murder Drones were too easy to tell and obviously needed better "camouflage" to blend in with worker drones to disassemble them. Y was made and given the designation of Spy to fit in. Their tail could easily hide and make them look normal. Y was sent to the planet where the drones were at and immediately followed program of seeming like a worker drone. However there was a small flaw. The original hair they had.. it didnt seem right. It was a bright color of yellow and it just didnt seem to work out well.. Y looked around, finding a corpse that wasnt completely rotted away, taking the hair off of it and using it as new hair to better blend in but still be unique. After doing so they got right to where the worker drones were. Y helped, talked a good bit, seemed friendly but recorded important info to relay to the murder drones. This.. was until during one recording a worker accidentally dropped  a box of tools and supplies onto Y's head, causin a bit of damage to some circuits along with their screen. There was no obvious way to tell circuits had been damaged during when Y was fixed so only their screen was replaced. However upon booting up, it seemed their right eye had a bug where it just stayed a yellow warning symbol. Yes this did expose them as a spy for the murder drones but Y had to play it off like it was a glitch. The workers never should know the truth despite their stupidity.
Few weeks pass and Y meets Z, another murder drone. They become buds and hang out but Y tries to not make themselves suspicious.
For now they still do their job as a spy and do love hangin out with people.
