"Heizou?" I called out my beloved detective but to no avail no one responded

Me and him was detective partners to solve the case of the missing children that roams in Sumeru forest

So for the past several hours, I have been yelling for Heizou and it seems as he is missing

Tighnari and Collei was kind enough to help me so us three went to different places to find Heizou

Suddenly a sharp scream for help and I immediately hold my fox ears close as it hurts my ears

I shook the feeling of my ears hurting and ran towards the direction of the scream

Seeing the same maroon ish hair boy laying on the ground trying to fight off the Fatui that was all around Sumeru with the Eremites, he couldn't stand a chance against all of them

I alert Tighnari and Collei by whispering to a small little bird that flew finding the two pair

I immediately rushed towards Heizou and kicked the cryogunner in the face and stood in my fighting stance infront of Heizou

Tighnari and Collei immediately came to our location and they began firing arrows at the Fatui and Eremites

"Y-y/n.." Heizou called out weakly and that make my blood boiling

"COLLEI TAKE HEIZOU AND GET OUT OF HERE, TIGHNARI YOU TOO" I yelled and Collei immediately obeys and took Heizou and ran off into the forest going to the direction of the village

"Y/n...I can't leave you here!" Tighnari spoke and when he looks at my eyes he knew I wasn't backing down from the fight

He left looking back at me once again and left to aid Heizou

"What can a sly fox like you can do? Hmm??" The pyrogunner spoke in a taunting manner

I ran towards them and when they tried to attack they couldn't focus on me as I was running around them making a icy mist

One of the Eremites manage to land a hit on me making me flew back hitting the ground

I groan and immediately shook off the pain and rush towards them

The ice mist explode and all of them had icicles at their body making the sharp end bloody

When I manage to reach into the icy mist I wave my sword and launch myself at the enemies who already was weaken by the icicles

After battling, I look back and weave my sword to make the blood get off my sword

Immediately I remembered Heizou and ran back to the village

Reaching my destination I saw Tighnari and Collei and I ask them where's Heizou

"His at the guest house, no worries he already patched up also his sleeping so I suggest don't bother him" Tighnari spoke

"Thanks....brother.." I said and immediately dash towards the guest house

Opening the door slowly to not awake the sleeping detective and entered

After closing the door, I turn around and immediately my face flushed red and my heart rate speed rapidly

His adorable when his asleep, my I'm getting ahead of myself

I walked near the bed and sat beside him, caressing his face

"Heizou...I never manage to tell you these but I love you, I don't know if you will accept me but I did notice how much you look at Ayaka back in Inazuma so I understand if you liked her but I love you Heizou, so so much, maybe more than the world, more than Teyvat more than...the universe, that's how much I love you so please don't go cause I still need you" I sobbed holding his cheek and cry on the bed

I thought of the worst scenario of him dying in my arms as I couldn't save him in time

When suddenly a hand appear on my hand that was caressing his face

I look up seeing Heizou's beautiful eyes looking at me, smiling maybe consider it as smirking

"Hehe you look adorable crying for me, detective y/n and of course I love you too, I won't leave you and never will, also I don't like Ayaka, I just kinda look like a flirt towards anyone even men hehe but no worries I'll now swore I love you and only you no matter what" he said, bringing my hand close to his lips and kiss it

My face flush pink to the tip of my ears and I looked away

"Now come here and give me a snuggle, I'm kinda tired" Heizou said without giving me a chance to reply immediately pull me up the bed and hugged me

I hugged back and snuggle into his chest, listening to his heart beat and his breathing

I closed my eyes and immediately my consciousness fell into the dark depts
