Amara Barton had never experienced what love truly was growing up, having an absent father and a drinking mother, who ignored her daughter like she was non-existent most of the time. The only time she did get any familial love was when she stayed over at her uncle and aunt's place, Clint and Laura.

Her life changed even more when she found out that she was a demigod and that her father was a Roman god. Thrust into a world where all the myths and legends were true, she had to learn to survive and find her place at Camp Jupiter. But the struggle to keep up with her school life and another war waging was really getting to Amara.

That was until she crossed paths with two new students in her eighth grade class, Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase, two people that made her dull life a little more brighter and showed her what love truly was like. The three hit off instantly, becoming best friends and quickly inseparable from one another. And you'd rarely see one without the other two.

They all held secrets of their own, but that hadn't let that get in the way of their friendship, that was until Amara was called back from Camp Jupiter to aid them against the Titan War, and Percy and Annabeth were pulled into another quest.

The three had no idea that they would've been saying goodbye to one another for a long time, because if they did, they would've hugged each other longer, held each other's hands a lot tighter, and stared at one another until the moon would fade and the sun would gaze down upon them.

Even the skies and winds and stars knew about their longing for one another for they were under the same sky, gazed at the same stars and felt the same gentle breezes blowing across their faces, wishing to have spent even a second longer with one another.

But as a few years passed and they slowly began to lose hope of ever finding each other again, Amara was finally reunited with Percy at Camp Jupiter of all places, without his memories. And soon she was dragged into another great prophecy alongside him and Annabeth.

And the more the Amara, Percy and Annabeth spent time with another throughout their quest, their bond with one another grew stronger to the extent that they fell into the deepest pits of hell for one another without hesitation in the name of love.

The three then finally managed to defeat Gaea, the primordial earth mother herself, alongside the rest of the eight and won the Giant War, finally giving Amara, Annabeth and Percy a chance at a peaceful life together, retiring to the mortal world.

But when has peace ever lasted for demigods, especially in the case of the three of the most powerful demigods of all time?

The twenty year old Barton is now pulled into the shenanigans of the Avengers to save her mind-controlled uncle from another threat and save the mortal world once again which has honestly become a full-time job for the daughter of Mercury at this point.

And let's see if love prevails yet again in another war that's slowly brewing . . .
