Ruby: Oh, and I also met this boy. His name is Matt. He's super friendly and kind!
Ruby: He's also strong, like REALLY strong! Probably stronger than Yang, or even dad.
Ruby: And get this, he's the first ever person on Vale to be in a team, all by himself! Can't you believe it?! Isn't that awesome?!
Ruby: And he even uses a scythe as his weapon, just like me! We're scythe buddies!
Ruby: Oh! A few weeks ago, the Grimm managed to break into Vale and me RWBY, JNPR and SHDW, that's Matt's team name, and yeah ironic right? So we all fought them to keep everyone safe. But Matt was the best! He has this Semblance that allows him to pull out shadow people and creatures out of his own shadow!
Ruby: He can be scary sometimes, but he means well! Oh! did I mention he's also friends with my other teammates and the other teams as well?
Ruby: Anyways, back on topic. In the end, we all managed to defeat the Grimm invasion. Sure, the city got destroyed in some parts, but thanks to Matt's shadows nobody was killed! And before that, he also helped us alot like saving an old man from a dust robbery, saving a bunch of students when they're enrolling for Beacon, helped solve a drama between me and Weiss, helped Jaune with his studies, helped me find a lost team mate, stopping a mean bully, helped saving me when I got kidnapped by a criminal and bunch of terrorists...
Ruby: Now that I think about it, I think he's a little TOO selfless, it's actually worrying me...
A bark then alerts her to the ever-adorable Zwei and the sight of her father in the trees behind her.

Ruby: Oh! Looks like Dad's back! I gotta go! He's dropping me off at Beacon for the tournament match before he goes on his next mission. Wish me luck!
She puts the hood back on and starts to walk away but turns and delivers one final message to her mother.
Ruby: It was good to talk.
With that said, Ruby jogs back to her family as a group of crows fly into the sun to make a very familiar sight.
