Matt: And because our Semblance is tied to our personality, it's gonna be tough to ask for advice about something so deep about ourselves from someone else.
Matt: Especially with someone whos Semblance is "Hereditary".
Weiss: Wow, I-I never thought about it that way. To think Semblances can be so much deeper than I originally thought...
Matt: You'll learn a thing or two when you've been through what I've been through for fifteen years.
Matt: But for now, show me how far you've gone.
Matt: I might aswell try to help as much as I can.
Now, Weiss and Matt are seen standing up. Weiss points her Myrtenaster at the ground, creating a rotating glyph made of blade symbols with Matt behind her, appraising the effort.

The glyph flickers in and out of existence, and Weiss grimaces in concentration.
But eventually, she dismisses it and drops on her knees.
Weiss: Ugh, I can't do it!
Matt: Hmm... I think I see the problem.
Weiss: You do?!
Matt: Well, one of two things, or you might have both problems.
Weiss: What are they? Please tell me! I need to know! Anything!
Matt: 'Geez, she really wants this done.'
Matt: Well, first problem. You lack confidence.
Weiss: What? But I-
Matt: Now you may think that's preposterous I get it. But listen carefully.
Matt: You may think that you don't have any doubts about your power, but deep down, you still have that feeling of self doubt. Even if you don't see it.
Matt: Power without confidence, is a power without strength.
Matt: Possibly, because of years of having someone else to do things for you when you grew up, it might have some sort of psychological damage to yourself.
Matt: When you life like that for nearly your whole childhood, it gives some trouble for a person to live independently and to think for themselves.
Weiss: A-... okay, you may have a point...
Weiss: So, what is the second reason?
Matt: The second, is because you're trying to force it out.
Weiss: Forcing it out?
Matt: Look uhh... Ah ha!
Matt grabs a cup from the table
Matt: Imagine this cup, as your body.
He then pours some water into the cup from a bottle.
