Chapter 30 (Final chapter)

"Okay, so you can go get ready and I'll pick you up in about 2 hours?"

"Okay." With that Anthony left. I hurried up to get in the shower. I washed myself and went into my room. I had only taken 15 minutes in the shower.

I went to my closet to find something.

I couldn't find anything. I looked through just about everything. Then in the back of my closet, I see a dress that is black, with lace and polka dots at the top. It is perfect.

I quickly straighten my hair. There is a knock on the door. Anthony is an hour early. That's weird.

I go down and open the door. "Hi Antho-" but it isn't Anthony. It's Brent.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Can I please just explain what is going on between Jessica and me? Not what is going on- just can we please talk about this whole situation."

"I guess since Anthony isn't going to be here for a while."

"Well, let me start off with you look amazing Mia." I blush. "Hehe thanks." Why am I blushing? This is Brent, not some celebrity. Seriously Mia! Grow up!

"Okay. So the deal with Jessica and I, is we were assigned this thing over the summer that we have to act like a couple and stuff. Even though we may be dating other people, which we both were, she didn't mean anything to me and I didn't mean anything to her." Wait. What?

"Wait, seriously? She doesn't mean anything and this whole thing has just been a whole act?" "Yes, Mia, I still love you and I have never stopped." "But what did you call her babe?" "Because if we call each other stuff, we get extra credit points for colleges." "Oh. That explains a lot."

Wait so if Brent isn't cheating on me than that must mean that I'm cheating on him. With Anthony. Oh no, I have to choose who to be with. And I have to clear all of this up.

"Brent, I started dating Anthony because I thought that you were cheating on me, but turns out that I'm cheating on you. I'm really sorry."

"You're fine. It's my fault that I didn't tell you about the extra credit thing. I'm sorry Mia." Brent pulls me into a hug. I look up at him.

We start kissing. Not a messy rough one, but a soft and gentle one. The type of kiss that is kind of like an I'm sorry one, yet I still love you.

I hadn't put any makeup on yet. But I don't think that I'm going to put any on or go on that date with Anthony. But who knows? Because my mind changes so much, it's kind of crazy.

"Okay. So I have a date with Anthony in like 45 minutes, but I don't think I'm going to go." "Okay. Whatever you want Mia. Whoever you choose, just know that I want you to be happy."

"Thank you Brent." This is seriously going to be the hardest decision ever.

~3 hours later~

I sit at a local restaurant, in sweatpants and a t-shirt.

"I'm so glad you choose me, Mia."

I sit across from the person I chose. The person who has been there for me since day 1.

I'm looking at Brent.
