I didn't want to reply. But I felt that I had to. But I didn't. So I just went to bed and texted him the next morning.

Mia: what do you want? And how did you get my number?

Nick: oh so she replies?

Mia: just to find out the questions I asked you.

Nick: well I just wanted to wish you good night and Brent gave it to me.

Mia: no he didn't he wouldn't do that because he knows that I'm his and he's mine.

Nick: but I want you to be mine.

Mia: well I'm dating Brent so...

Nick: but why can't you date me?

Mia: why are you doing this to your best friend?

Nick: oh please. You broke up that relationship.

Mia: well only because yo tried to steal me away from him.

Nick: well I mean who couldn't you're beautiful.

I wasn't going to reply to that. He was obviously not getting the point about Brent and I.

I just got up and showered and got dressed. It was finally summer vacation.

I ate breakfast and then checked Facebook.

Everyone was putting how happy they were because of summer vacation.

I put on a nice pair of skinny jeans a a cute top and some sandals. I walked over to Brent's house.

I was going to text him that I was coming over, but I shouldn't have to do that right?

I knocked on the door and Brent didn't answer. A really pretty blonde haired girl answered.

"Hi." She said

"Hi, uh is Brent here?"

"Oh. No he went to get something at the store. But you can come in if you want."

"Okay."

I went in and got comfortable on his couch like I always do.

"So who are you?" I asked curiously.

"I'm Brent's ex, Nicole."

I felt awkward. "Oh. Why are you here then?" I asked curiously.

"Brent and I are trying to work things out."
