4. The end of the beginning

Today was the last day I would be here. The last day I would be with Morph. By tomorrow I would be at a school. At an academy with a lot of others my same age. A place where I could learn a lot more then I did here. I was both scared and excited at the same time. Scared because I would be leaving everything I knew. But excited because I would be able to see a lot more. A lot more of everything. Excited because I would be able to go outside again.

My last day with Morph there was a lot to do. While we had breakfast we talked about all the things we would need to pack and get ready. I was only taking my clothes with me. All the books and other stuff I used would be staying. I looked down at Blacky and almost started to cry. But Morph was quick to say that she was mine and would be staying with me. That put a smile on my face and she got a big hug. I didn't want to leave her behind. She would be the only friend I had there.

After breakfast we went to my room and packed up my clothes. It didn't take that long, and I was told that the academy had uniforms that everyone was supposed to be wearing anyway. These were for when I had down time after classes and on weekends. I was going to be getting there on a Friday, so I would have 3 days off until I started classes on Monday morning.

Later that day 2 vampires showed up to get me. I thought I would have all day with Morph. But they wanted to get going and there was no point in waiting anymore. We did get to have lunch together before I left. So one last meal to share with someone I knew. We said our goodbyes and hugged one last time before he set me down.

The male vampire took my packed clothes to the van that we were going in. I fallowed walking behind him. But when I got to the van the female vampire picked me up from behind and put me in a really odd looking seat. She strapped me in to it and I started to look around. The seat I was put in was different then the others. This one sat up higher and was tilted back a little. It felt comfortable for the most part. My tail didn't like it that much, but we could manage.

I didn't talk to these two that much. They knew my name and they did tell me theres. When they asked me a question I would answer them politely. But I would not give them any extra information if I didn't have to. After a couple of questions they finally realized that I wasn't in a talkative mood so the rest of the drive was quiet.

We did have to make one stop on the way. I told them I needed to go potty. They wanted me to use my diaper. I told them I didn't have a diaper on, I only had a pull-up on. That frustrated the male vampire, But after a small chat with the female one, they decided to stop at a place called "McDonald's".

I grabbed a pull-up from my carry with me bag. Along with a small package of whites, and Blacky of course. The male vampire wanted me to leave Blacky in the van. But once again the female vampire talked to him. Blacky stayed with me. She walked with me to the bathroom and asked if I needed any help. I told her I didn't but thanked her for asking.

After getting changed and finishing going poop in the toilet, I came out of the bathroom. Both vampires were sitting down at a table and eating some food. I walked over to the table and the female picked me up and put me in a seat next to her. These seats were really weird. They were like a small couch, but they were hard and uncomfortable.

She put some food in front of me and said that she ordered for me. I was told that it was a chicken nugget happy meal. But nothing here looked like chicken or happy. I tried this round thing first, and promptly spit it out. I was told that it was chicken, but that did not taste like anything I would eat. I had chicken before, and that was not chicken.

Then I tried these long brown things. I was told they were flys. But I never seen flys get that big before. And they didn't have the same crunch or bad after taste that I remembered. These flys were actually good.

Then the male vampire slid a cup across the table to me. He said that it was milk and I could take it with me in the van. I thanked him for it, but didn't drink it. The female saw that I wasn't drinking it and asked if there was something wrong. I told her that there wasn't anything wrong, but I also said that I preferred using a bottle instead of one of these kind of cups. That got a smile from her and a queries look from the male.

Then the male took the cup back and dumped it in to a bottle like I was used to. He smiled at me and said. "Here you go little one. We weren't told what you like and don't like. So if there's anything else we need to know, don't hesitate to tell us." I told them about my tail hurting because of the seat. But I also told them that I could deal with that. Then the two vampires look at each other for a moment. "We can't put you in a normal seat, you're to small for that. But if you would be ok with it, she could hold you the rest of the way instead."

I looked at the two and shrugged my shoulders. "I don't mind if you don't. It would help my tail out a lot." They both seemed happy with my decision. When we got back to the van she grabbed a blanket from the back before picking me up and sitting down. She strapped herself in and I got comfortable in her arms. She covered me and Blacky with the blanket then offered me my bottle of milk. I thanked her and was about to grab it, but she put it to my lips and held it while I drank.

With everything happening that day, all the stresses and new stuff. I ended up falling asleep after a couple of minutes. The next thing I knew was being woken up when she got out of the van. It was night time already and I was told to keep quiet. The other students should be sleeping already and they were going to take me straight to my new room. They told me that normally I would go and see the dean first thing. But with how late it was, I could see the dean in the morning. I was ok with that, I was still tired and only half awake anyway.

She ended up carrying me all the way to my new room, and I was grateful for that. There were a lot of stairs to get to my room. The door to my room had no lock on it so we were able to go in without a problem. I was able to look around when she finally put me down. This place was big. To my right there was a 2 seater couch and a tv on the wall. To my left there was a table with 2 chairs. And on one wall was what looked like a small kitchen. It had a sink, a microwave, and a small fridge. The fridge was my size, I could see over it, sorta. I would have to use one of the chairs if I wanted to sue that sink.

There was a small hallway that lead to two doors. The left door was a bathroom. It had a  smaller tub then the one Morph had. And shower, that I would probably never use. Another sink that was to high for me. Right then I decided to only use the kitchen sink. I wouldn't be able to fit a chair in here to use this one.

The door on the right was a bedroom. It had a desk built in to the wall. I thought that was a good idea. It had a closet, also in one wall with doors of it's own. There was a window that was to high for me to look out of. Unless I wanted to look at the sky that is. Then there were two beds. One bed looked like Morph's bed, only a lot smaller. The other was, what I know knew as, a crib. Only this one was a lot lower to the ground. And the bars could be opened from ether the inside or the outside. These people were trying to make me comfortable. They planed for me to decide where I wanted to sleep. At Morph's I slept in a crib for the most part. And they set this one up just incase I wanted to continue sleeping in one. That put a smile on my face.

I walked back out to the living room where the others were waiting for me. They told me they would be back in the morning, unless I wanted them to stay the night. I thanked them for the offer, but told them I would be fine on my own. After they left I started putting my clothes away. After that was done I went to the kitchen and moved one of the chairs so I could get on the counter and look through the cupboards. There was nothing in them, I checked the fridge and it was empty too. At least there were sheets and blankets already on the bed. Someone had made them both up before I got here. I sniffed at those and they were clean. Nobody had used them before now.

I figured I should go to bed, I was tired. I looked at the small bed and decided I didn't want to use that one tonight. I got in the crib and pulled the bars up. They weren't that heavy and I could drop them easily from the inside. I moved the blankets and sheet then tucked Blacky in. I got in beside her and covered me up as well. I already missed Morph tucking me in at night.
