"Yes, Perseus Jackson, as in the evil dude. And yes he does have a daughter. Though I would prefer that you didn't call him the evil dude," she said frowning.

"Did you just read my mind?" I ask dumbfounded.

"Yes, I did," she replies.

"EVERYONE TO THE CENTER OF CAMP! THERE HAS BEEN A SECURITY BREACH!!!!!!!!!" I hear someone scream.

Long story short, it took a while to convince everyone that she was good and not evil. (She explained all this to me earlier).

"Wait...what's your name?" I ask.

"Lavanya."

"Lavanya?" I ask.

"Yeah. It's in an ancient language. My father insisted, sadly," she replies, her eyes downcast.

Clearly she doesn't like the name...

"I'm gonna call you Lav," I say.

*Lavanyas pov*

"I'm gonna call you Lav," Percy says to me.

I like him already.

He could probably tell that I don't like my name. Ito actually fine, it's just that everyone here has such normal names, you know?

Percy let me stay in his cabin.

I think I'm starting to like it here.
