Alastor tilted his head back and laughed. He could see the wispy clouds of his breath float on the breeze as he did so. "Are you sure my friend? You didn't sound so certain." Angel. That was quite a peculiar name for one to call their son. Although Alastor had to admit, the blonde did look a bit...angelic, in a certain light. Perhaps his parents were onto something with that name after all.

"Sorry," Anthony bit his lip. "I guess I'm still a bit on edge." That, at least, wasn't a complete lie. He was still feeling very on edge.

Alastor nodded. He supposed that made sense. He didn't really know this character well, so he couldn't make the call on whether he was lying or not. "I see," he responded. "And may I ask what you are doing out so late? Am I correct to presume you're heading home from a joint maybe?"

Anthony mentally cringed. He really didn't want to keep lying to this gentleman. But to tell him he had been looking for him? Before he could stop them, the words spewed forth from him like a geyser. "I uh...was actually lookin' for you. But I couldn't find ya, so I was makin' my way back home." He clenched his fists and his jaw together. Shit. He actually just said that didn't he? Was it too late to take it back?

Alastor's eyes widened and his smile fell into more of a flat line. He looked taken aback to the blonde, and quite frankly, he was! Angel had been looking for him? Whatever for? Now Alastor was highly suspicious. His eyes narrowed on the blonde and he slowly started reaching for the knife in his pocket. "And why, pray tell, were you looking for me?"

Anthony was so busy wallowing in his embarrassment, that he didn't notice the older man reaching for his knife. Goddamn it! Now what was he supposed to do? Continue telling him the truth? Make something up? His bed was made...maybe he should just lie in it? Anthony groaned, deciding he might as well keep the truth going, even if he felt like he was just digging a bigger and bigger hole for himself. "I didn't get yer name that night, but I was hopin' I could run into ya again so we could talk or somethin' before you had to take off back home." At least he wasn't lying.

Alastor halted his slow movements. Oh. Well, that was quite the fair explanation, he supposed. "Ah. I see. I do apologize for not properly introducing myself to you that night. But I must say that you never did the same."

Anthony gave another dry chuckle. "Yeah, trust me. I felt like an idiot when I realized, but it was too late by then."

Alastor gave a gentle smile. "Well, it's a pleasure to finally meet you Angel," he said softly.

Anthony felt chills on his arms, but he couldn't tell if it was the cold or the gentleman's silky voice. He returned the smile and nodded. "Likewise."

Alastor noticed the chill and got an idea. "You were heading back to your home you say? Shall I walk with you? That way if any more muggers come and seek us out, we will have the numbers on our side." He smirked at that last bit. He could fully take on anyone by himself. He more or less just wanted an excuse to keep talking to the fascinating younger man in front of him. But he also didn't want Angel to catch a cold.

Anthony's smile was more genuine now, his eyes twinkling with delight. He shrugged. "If yer offerin,' I ain't gonna say no!"

Alastor grinned, and the two began walking in the direction of where Alastor presumed Anthony's house was.

"So, when are ya leavin' again?" the Italian asked, happy to have a companion by his side for the walk home. Not that he couldn't handle issues himself, but this gave him an excuse to talk to the brunette longer.

Alastor hummed. "Hmm, end of March I'm afraid."

Anthony glanced up at the man. "Have ya been enjoying yer stay here at least?"
