Taehyung has been feeling miserable the entire day, never stepping out of his farm just because he refuses to go home. He pushed himself to work since morning and it is almost four in the evening, his muscles sore and he can barely stand anymore. He drops onto the small wooden chair underneath the small shade, wiping the sweat off his forehead, and grunts loudly.

He is so conflicted about what he feels towards Seori. After spending the whole night with her at his own house, something shifted within him and he was not prepared to feel the weight of his own feelings.

It is heavy, clawing under his ribcage, pumping his blood vigorously to the point he feels heady.

He almost slipped on the concrete floor earlier, almost hitting his head on the big tools and he could have had a concussion. His mind was not on the farm, but at home. Where Seori is.

He stays there for a minute, winding down before fighting all the fears, and makes his way home. Upon walking into his living room, he realizes how quiet and still the entire space is. The humidifier is switched off, and the house does not smell like the night before - lavender and vanilla - but it smells normal. Almost empty. Like the house is vacant for quite a long time.

He turns around, realizing all lights are off and then it hits him, Seori is not there. She had left.

He stares at the humidifier, confused and unable to grasp the entire situation yet, and then his phone rings, the sound blazing through the quiet house.

"Hello?", he slumps into his couch, sighing in exhaustion.

"What did you do to my lovely Park Seori?", without any greetings, Miyeon shoots the question coldly.

Blood runs up to his head and his body jerks up at the mention of Seori's name. "What do you mean?"

Miyeon scoffs jokingly through the phone and Taehyung knows something is amiss.

"Miyeon, what are you saying?"

"Seori asked for my help to move all her stuff back to her house this morning. She looked like she wanted to flee from your house as quickly as possible. Did you get mad at her and asked her to leave?"

Taehyung feels his heart accelerating, and it's painful. "I did not"

"You did something this morning, didn't you?", Miyeon sighs. "Is there anything that you said to her...or did...that gave her the impression that you want her gone from your house?"

He runs a hand over his conflicted face, his mind too clouded with thoughts from work to the point he is unable to figure out what actually happened this morning.

"Taehyung, I know you. But I also hate that I know you to not be surprised anymore. Go find your Seori before you regret it"

"Miss Park Seori"

"Yeonjun, you asked Miss Park one more question I swear I am going to kill you myself", Mina slaps the back of his head, immediately silencing him.

"I am going to kill you in your sleep", Yeonjun hisses at Mina. "And please hold Miss Park with care, you are too harsh"

"You both should keep quiet before I use my lecturer card on you", Seori warns but in a very joking manner. "Also, I will be fine here alone. You both can go home"

Seori moves from Mina's arms and slides herself onto the working chair in her temporary office at the school, grunting a little when she accidentally twists her sprained ankle while adjusting her seat.
