Everything was riding on their performance the next day. The company wanted to know they were worth investing in and NamJoon was determined to prove that for the sake of all the members, but especially for YoonGi. There was no way they could be a group without their seventh member: their genius with the tongue technology. NamJoon might have a way with crafting words, but YoonGi could spit a rap like no other.
The group only worked with the seven of them. And their art only worked because they had each other.
NamJoon wanted to be with YoonGi. He wanted them to be happy, doing what they love. There was too much talent to let it be taken away by old fashioned ideas. Even more than that, he couldn't stop picturing his face. The thought of YoonGi not being in his life made tears stream down NamJoon's cheeks. A lump formed in his throat as words floated around his head.
I love YoonGi.
Wiping his eyes, he rose and grabbed his jacket from the back of the desk chair, resolved to do whatever it would take, even confessing his love. He would bring YoonGi back, somehow, and tomorrow they would prove to everyone that BTS would be worth it.
