Chapter 18; Enemies

Me: Me.. too...

I laid my head on the table and looked out of the window... Just let me get over today.. I. need. To. Sleep. (I always do)

My mind started drifting off.. and my vision was getting smaller.. and then my ears went shut.. and then I don't know what happened.

A few minutes later, I heard the school bell ring. FINALLY OMG IT'S THE END!!! But then there's the class party ohmy.

On the way to Taejin's house, everyone talked amongst themselves while walking since his house was just a few streets away from school. I walked at the back, trying to sleep while I walk (which obviously failed) because I kept knocking into Jungkook who was beside me. I gave up on that and just walked with my head down, keeping quiet to preserve energy. My eyelids were getting heavier by the second and eventually, they were tightly shut. And then I continued walking but since my eyes were shut, I tripped over my own shoe and fell forward!!!

W-what just happened? I kept my eyes shut so I couldn't see anything but this didn't feel like a fall?? I open my eyes a little to peek at what was happening.

Me: OHMYGOD THANK YOU!!!

JK: :) Be careful Jieun ah... Are you tired? Do you wanna go home first? I'll send you back!

Me: No it's alright... :) I'll just attend this.. Thank you so much by the way!! ^^

JK: :) No problem~

Thank god Jungkook caught me on time... Phew.. I shall stop sleeping while I walk before I break my teeth. :(

Jungkook then wrapped his arm around my shoulders all of a sudden. "Josimhae. (Be careful.) I don't wanna see you getting hurt."

I looked down and grinned from ear to ear!!! How can he be so natural and sweet at the same time?!?!?! It's like. I can sense that he's being sincere, being serious. He's not sugar coating words intentionally. Kyaaaa Jungkook's so hot~ Wait what am I saying? How is that being hot? I'm not in the right mind oh gosh.

We arrived at Taejin's condo and we proceeded to the function room to place our bags. We went to the field to play some games, for example, a few rounds of catching, vampire, captain's ball, dodge ball and some other ball games.

Since I'm a volleyballer, I did pretty well in the ball games hehe.. When the rest of them went to take a break, I took the ball and started receiving it to myself, since I really missed playing volleyball. Jungkook watched as I played so I received the ball to him. He wasn't prepared so he got a shock (HAHAHA) and I burst out laughing because he looked so epic!!!

JK: Teach me!!!

Me: Mwo? You're interested in volleyball?

JK: Eung!!!(Yea!!!) TEACH MEEEEEE~~

Me: Okay okay stop whining before I spike the ball at your face!

JK: /covers mouth with palm/

Me: Keke kyeopta (so cute) Okay so first, overlap one palm over the other, depending on your preference. For me, I use left over right. After overlapping, bring your thumbs together and stick it down onto your overlapped palms. Straighten your hands. Bend your knees whenever you're going to come into contact with the ball, and push yourself up with your ankle when you're gonna bring the ball up. Receive the ball using the part of your arm right after your wrist. So... This is how you receive. Try it. I'll correct you.

JK: Okie.. Do I do it like that? Am I correct?

Me: Yea yea it's correct! Now try receiving the ball. I'll throw it to you and just position yourself right behind the ball, use your body weight to stop the ball, and hit the ball upwards using your ankle to push your whole body upwards.
