You shivered while you and Varian walked back to his house.

The two of you had been going for a stroll, when it started raining.

"Why do the gods hate me so?"

"Well, you wanted to stay for a bit and dance in the rain. No wonder you're freezing now."

"To be fair, you cheered me on."

He chuckled and you held yourself, teeth clacking.

"Are you that cold?"

"Uh, yes?"

He sighed, starting to take off his top.

You shielded your eyes as your cheeks reddened.

"What are you doing!?"

He spluttered a laugh.

"Well, I'm trying to keep you warm, genius. And relax, I'm wearing something under."

You slowly put your hand away.

"Well give a girl a warning!"

"Oh, you're a girl?"

You pushed him, melodramatically placing the back of your hand over your forehead.

"After all this time spent together and still you know nothing about me."

He scoffed.

"That's not true."

"What's my favourite colour?"

"..."

"See? And you call yourself my best friend."

You shook your head.

"Hands up (Y/N)."

"What for? Do you have a weapon?"

"Pff, no. I'm attempting to give you my shirt."

You shrugged your shoulders, putting your hands up in the air. He slipped his shirt onto you, and you instantly felt a bit warmer. Even if the shirt was pretty much drenched in rainwater.

The fact that the shirt smelled like him was a definite bonus.

"How are you going to stay warm now though?"

"Eh, I'll survive."

You stared at him, deadpanning when he clenched his jaw, trying his best not to shiver.
