He is Infront of a oven waiting for the Chocolate cake he baked for their second year anniversary. Yes two whole years has passed. They go to dates almost everywhere and travel to places together. Other employees can mistake them as a young married couple already since they act like one. The employees are probably tired seeing them being sweet and lovey dovey in office hours.

Even if their relationship has grown into a strong and consistent one , Jeno still chooses to bicker with Jaemin like he did back in highschool. One time he got kicked out from his own house because he annoyed Jaemin too much on April fool's day just because of that one prank he found in the internet

but atleast a kiss calmed Jaemin down or he would sleep on the streets

and even with the complicated love story. They're happy that destiny made them meet each other again despite not seeing their presence for seven years. Maybe their love was too strong to forget.

"can I hug you?" Jaemin clinged into the older who was just reading a book in peace

Jeno nodded in reply

Jaemin quickly rushed towards him , greeting a big hug while his head comfortably on Jeno's shoulder taking a peek at the book his boyfriend was reading

"what's that book about?" he asked getting curious what the book was since he was reading the same book these past days

"it's thriller book about a detective. You interested?"  Jeno said knowing the younger won't bother to even read about it since he knows Jaemin doesn't like reading the genre because it's stressful

Jaemin hummed "like Sherlock Holmes?"

Jeno scoffed "Sherlock Holmes isn't the only character that's a detective" he said as he bumps their noses together

"Whatever continue reading your book" Jaemin plops into a comfortable position to sleep on his chest

"don't you have a presentation to do?" Jeno reminded

"I'll do it later. Let's stay like this for five more minutes" showing off his puppy eyes "please?" Jaemin pouted his lips

He knew Jeno couldn't resist his cuteness. Who could resist this cute human being Infront of him"please? I promise I won't take a nap while you read" he was so sure about it

in the end he was sleeping on Jeno's shoulder soundly with a light snore. Taking a glance at the younger sleeping his lips formed a curved upwards

How could someone look so ethereal while sleeping?

brushing his soft hair through his fingers his eyes were still focused on the the male. Basically gazing at him with pure admiration

Back to reading his book he realized it was the last page "it's the last page already?" he uttered softly

Jaemin stretched his arms after the comfortable nap he had and shot his eyes wide open when he saw a sentence from the book Jeno was reading

Jaemin pintch his cheeks while a playful smirk  displayed on his face finding it cute how Jeno was planning their dates all along. No wonder he always bring him to the best places he never knew would be a good place to have a dates "no need to get shy I'm just enjoying the effort" he snatched the book on Jeno's hands proceeding to look at the other pages

"Hey give it back!" his cheeks were heating u pto a light shade of red

"why are you embarrassed? is there naughty stuff here?" Jaemin said teasing the CEO who was close of giving up at this point

"Jaemin!" he called out his name before catching him with a big hug

"that's unfair!" he huffed while being hug tightly but who was he to complain it's a hug from Jeno then the atmosphere changed when he held his hands like they were about to get announced as a married couple

"Let's do it now"

"Huh?" you can see in his eyes that he's confused but Jeno only took a deep breath and smiled at him full of love "W-What are you planning?" he stuttered not knowing what is going to happen next but one thought came through his mind

He wasn't expecting it either.

"why am I getting nervous" Jeno laughed at himself

"go on."

Jeno took a deep exhale "I love you so much that even simple things you do is enough for me. I thought it was just a mere highschool crush that I'll eventually move on but as time passes by , the more I miss you around" he said it with so much emotion  "The day when we were inside the science lab? remember when you say you didn't want to see me ever again , it broke me inside knowing it was the last time I saw you" The male Infront of him was starring , listening to him carefully "I tried blind dates but none of them made the same spark you did to me,"

"what have you done to me Na Jaemin?"

Jaemin surely didn't expect such a explanation that could make him tear up

"I know we've only been together for two years but if I propose to you right now it won't make any difference since we'll still be together. I am going to say it anyways." he gulped

oh my god it's finally happening!

"promise you'll stay by my side?"

"I never break my promises so I promise" Jaemin said while sticking out his pinky finger

"Will you marry me?" Jeno proceeds. Closing his eyes until he answers. Jeno can even feel his heart racing

"Is that even a question?" he smiled "of course!" Jaemin answered as he pulls him closer wrapping his arms around his neck and kissed him on the lips. It quickly turned into a messy kiss

ending it with a small peck on the forehead making it more romantic
"I love you so much"

Jaemin scoffed "Was this part of 101 things to do with your boyfriend?"

"Yep" Jeno replied emphasizing the 'p' "was it on Page twenty—" Jeno was cut off when he saw the kitchen already smoking "did you cook something?" the smell of something burning

"SHIT THE CHOCOLATE CAKE!" his eyes widened realizing he baked a cake and forgot to turn off the oven before taking a nap. The fire alarm went on making the place showering in water

what a chaotic way to end a proposal.

It ends with them again.
