"So uhm dad what kind of juice do you want?" Jaemin took a glance at the menu and the tension in between his dad and Jeno was silent but his dad was secretly judging the male beside his son who just introduced himself as his boyfriend

"your dad only drinks water Jaemin so it's okay" his mom answered instead

"so what's your name again?" Mr.Na asked while raising a brow at the ceo

Jeno gulped out loudly from the nervousness Jaemin's dad gave him since he was just blankly staring at him. Just smile and nod

"My name is Lee Jeno sir" he replied in a the most polite way as possible as he tries not to be in a stuttering mess

Jaemin gazed up at the male who looks terrified while answering the question almost made him laugh because his father isn't even that terrifying for he was a sweet and a caring father to him. The only thing why he's acting like this because it's the first time seeing his son being happy after all of the years they suffered and being able to his son smile again , also making sure nobody will ever break his son's heart or else the next time we'll see you is in inside a coffin , ready to bury down the soil

his father squinted his eyes at Jeno finding the name familiar. He heard it somewhere "so what do you for living?"

"I work at a company sir"

"So you two met while work? How cute it's like a office romance going on" his mother chuckled

they met again because of work.

"Oh really , you also must be a secretary then-" his dad stated but was cut off

"I'm the youngest son of the Lee Group and I'm the CEO of the place where your son works at" Jeno didn't notice he cut off Jaemin's's father

his father's eyes widened and chocked on the water he drank while his mother patted his back trying to help his poor father chocking "Did you say CEO!?"

Jaemin nervously chuckled glancing at his father staring at him still In shock "Are you really my father? how come you didn't know I work under him as a secretary?" the fact he mentioned it a few times while doing a video call

Mrs.Na smiled at the CEO who was just sitting there feeling like he interrupted a family moment "It was nice meeting you Jeno"

"o-oh it was nice meeting you ma'am?" Jeno smiled in hesitation

"You can call me mother if you're comfortable" she said softly trying not to put the male on a uncomfortable position

"also what made you love my son even though you're financial background is nowhere where near our level?"

Jaemin blinked twice as he looks at his CEO and not knowing what the older would answer to that question , since he never saw Jeno sharing his feeling or thoughts with someone even him

"Your son and I actually knew each other way before I graduated. We we were classmates in highschool and which I say when I first saw him.....I think I experienced love in first sight" he said calmly

it was shocking for him. Jaemin didn't know the older liked him way back in highschool. He always thought he hated him to the guts or was just playing along since they were known in that way

"pft...BWAHAHAHA" Mark bursted out of laughter while his hands flapped like a seal. The Canadian male place down his beer while wiping his tears from laughing

sending a glare to his friend who was still continued to laugh his ass off "what's so funny about it?"

"I can't believe you introduced yourself as his boyfriend Infront of his parents who just arrived from abroad" Mark glanced at the younger male nod while listening "and you two just kissed don't you think it's too early to call yourself a boyfriend?" I mean he got a point though

Jeno puckers his lips "Why not?" he replied innocently making Mark slapped his own forehead

Mark himself isn't even a dating expert nor he dated with so much experience

"OF COURSE NOT!" Mark raised his voice. "You have to ask him out first dumbass before calling him your lover or some kind of shit you want to call it"

"Woah. Woah. calm down you lion continue on drinking your beer"

"-but how are you sure that Jaemin likes you back though? well you two technically kissed but did he confess to you or something?"

back to the drunk scene his secretary caused

"I...."

"I hate you so much and ever since you came back to my life you made it worse! fucking jerk"

but it didn't it stop there Jaemin actually mumbled something before passing out because of how low his alcohol tolerance

"I still like you though" and he heard it loud and clear even though Jaemin mumbled it softly
