Slowly I roused from my sleepy state, and as I began to yawn and stretch out my body, I noticed something odd. I stopped immediately, when I realized I was laying on someone's chest. They had their arms firmly around my body, and it took me a few moments to realize who it was.

I smiled to myself, when the realization hit me that I was in bed with the Luke Hemmings. Last night I had had another one of my nightmares about the day of the accident that had broken my body, but instead of finishing out the same terrifying theme, I was woken by Luke's calming words.

That had made twice now that Luke had come to my rescue, and I couldn't be more grateful for his help. I started to untangle myself from Luke's hold, but I felt his grip on me tighten.

"No stay." I heard escaped his lips, and I trembled at his words. His morning voice was deep and husky, and it sent chills down my spine. "Did you sleep well love." I heard him ask.

I decided to get comfortable again, "Yes." I told him, while I laid my head back on his chest.

Luke's deep morning voice spoke again. "No more nightmare's?"

"It was just a dream Luke." I lied, as my mind screamed, no it's a nightmare. "I'm okay really." I lied to him, because I didn't want him to know anything about that horrible day that robbed me of my eyesight.

Luke pulled me closer to his body and laid his head on top of mine. "I'm glad love." He said softly, making me feel all giddy inside.

I couldn't get over the fact that Luke kept calling me love, but I stopped questioning it. "By the way, your bed is very comfy." He said snuggling further into my mattress.

"Is it?" I asked him. I loved this close contact between us, and I wasn't ready for it to end. "So, you slept, okay?"

I felt him stretch out once again. "I slept great love." He told me.

Suddenly I felt so ashamed for having my little breakdown last night, and for Luke having to hold me until I fell asleep again. "I'm sorry if I scared you last night Luke, I didn't mean too." I apologized feeling bad for what I had done.

I felt his hand caress my cheek, and I felt his breath hit my face. "Hey now, don't be like this."

He lifted my chin up, and I assumed he was looking at my face. "I told you last night that it was okay."

"I want to be here for you MJ, if you'll let me." He finished, and I felt him press his body into mine.

The contact from being so close to Luke, and feeling his arms around my waist, and our legs entwined was giving me chills. "But I shouldn't have asked you to sleep up here with me."

Luke pulled me closer, and I laid my head back on his chest. "I said I'm right where I want to be love."

I didn't know why but I had the sudden urge to lean up and find Luke's lips, but I had to fight that urge to kiss him, because it was so wrong. "I like the sound of that." I said instead.
