Hi!

So, for those of you who didn't see my message on my account, I wrote this scene while writing season 3b, but I couldn't find a good place to put it.

But, I still wanted to post it. I also may have added more to it since I last wrote it.

Also, this scene is completely canon to my story. this happened. Don't question me on it.

Florence sat in the waiting room with Chris and Allison, her leg moving up and down from nervousness.

"Hale?" A nurse said. Florence stood up, along with the two hunters behind her, and followed the nurse.

The doctor came into the room shortly after the three entered.

"Hi I'm Dr. Hanson. We are here to do an ultra sound correct?"

Florence nods her head.

"Okay, is this your first pregnancy?"

Florence moved her eyes downward. "Uh no. I had a miscarriage about 20 years ago."

The doctor had a sympathetic look on her face.

"I'm sorry." She turns to Chris. "Are you the father?"

"Yes, and this is my daughter, she wanted to be here, I hope that is okay"

The doctor smiled at Allison.

"Alright, so I am going to lift up your shirt and squirt some of this cold stuff on it."

Before they knew it, the monitor showed a blurry photo of the baby.

"You see that there? That's your baby." The doctor says pointing at a small speck on the monitor.

Florence feels tears in her eyes as she grabs Chris's hand.

"It's so.. small" Allison says, staring at the screen,

"She's not far along, only about 7 or 8 weeks, if you want, we can listen to the heartbeat" the nurse says

All three of them nods and a loud thumping noise fills the room.

"The heartbeat sounds great. Your pregnancy is coming along fine. You can find out the gender of the baby in about a 2 months. Congratulations."

Florence looked at Chris with a tearful smile, feeling her heart beat faster at the thought of their child. Allison watched her Father stare at the screen with the image of her baby brother/sister with a happy look in his face.

"I'll have these photos up for you at the desk for when you leave. Again, Congratulations" the doctor says before exiting the room.

Allison watched as her father and Florence smiles with teary eyes at each other. A smile makes its way onto her face at the sight.

Chris and Allison sat in the car as Florence made a 'quick' trip into Beacon Hills Memorial to show Melissa her sonogram photo.

"You know," Allison starts, looking at her dad. "You're a lot happier now"

He looks at his daughter through the rearview mirror. "Yeah" he nods. "I am"

There's a moment of silence in the car, the two Argents thinking about two different things.

"Are you going to marry Florence?" Allison asks her father.

Chris stays silent. Not knowing what to say, afraid of how his daughter will react.

"Because, I think you should. I want you to. You guys are good together."

Chris turns around and looks at his daughter, who is looking at him with a serious face. "You think so?"

Allison nods. "I know you loved mom, but not in the way you love Florence."

The older argent sighs. "Well, then I guess I don't need to beat around the bush any longer." He says as he reaches into his inside jacket pocket, bringing out a small box, and opening it showcasing a decent sized ring.

Allison gapes at her dad, mouth wide open.

"I bought this right after we moved in together. It was fast, but I knew. I've known since I first met her. I was going to talk to you about it soon, bring it up at the right time and make sure that you were okay with it first."

Allison nods. "I am more than okay with it. Florence is like another mother to me."

Chris feels his chest warm at his daughter's words. "I'm happy to hear that."

"So, when are you going to do it?" She asks.

Chris puts the box away inside his jacket pocket. "I'm not sure. Whenever the time is right I guess."

Allison hugs her dad, kissing him on the cheek. "I love you dad. I can't wait for this"

Chris Argent stares at the small box containing the ring he bought as he packs for France. His eyes, tearing up at the memory of his talk with Allison. Right next to his suitcase, also sat the necklace he bought her, almost a year ago from France. The one he hadn't given her yet. With everything going on, he hadn't found a good time.

He places the ring box back in the drawer he took it out of, hiding it towards the back. Not wanting to tale a look at the item that brought back a sentimental memory with his daughter and a reminder that he ruined his relationship with the love of his life.
