"What do you mean I will go to school?" I angrily said
"I mean is, you Kritanta Connell an 18yrs old will go to Redwood High Academy as a new transfer student for your first year," He declared
I rolled my eyes at his statement
"No, What I mean is why will I go to school when I already finished it?" I pointed out
"Technically, you finished home school but you never really felt what it is to study in a school. Plus I need you to do something while in there," He further states
"And what if I will not agree to this?" I countered back
"You have no choice, since you are partially the owner it is your responsibility and I need you to find out what did your father hide in that school," He conveyed
"Redwood High Academy is a school of elites and most of them are sons and daughters of people under different mafias and gangs. I heard that the hierarchy of that school is not pleasing. Many complaints that have been abandoned because they would use their ranks and social status to quiet people. In short, an injustice place that is in need of a new leader," He explained
"And you are expecting me to oversee this?" I said annoyed
"Yes, and teach those who are in need teachings," He added then sat down on his chair and faces his computer
"Here is the list of your responsibilities for school. I will email them to you," He said while pointing to the computer for me to look
As I scan the list, it feels that I will run as a dean there not as a student.
I can change the rules how I like.
Kick students who I feel like with proper excuse though.
So, I have power over this school.
That sounds fun but with a whole lot of work.
"Anyways, nice seeing you back Captain Kri, but I must get going. I have a very important meeting to attend to. I will get Zander to fix you up with your questions if you have any," He said as he pressed something on his table
Later then Zander came in.
Gotta love the new updated technology we have. I need one of those.
He is the second command in our organization.
"Zander, kindly help Captain Kri here for her next mission," Uncle said leading us out of his office.
This man really can't wait to shrug us off.
I looked at Zander and the look on his face is outstanding. He looked like he just saw a ghost.
"Ca-Captain!" Zander utterly said as he saluted me
"No need for a salute Zander, Nice to see a familiar face here," I said patting his shoulder, and started to walk away from the office
Zander seemed to recover from his shock as he jogged toward me.
"I can't remember when was the last time I saw you, captain, I'm so glad you are back, You are back right?" He excitedly said
I chuckled
This boy never ceases to entertain me
"I am," I said as we are walking toward the kitchen
I'm hungry
Your girl needs to eat.
"Do you need any help Captain?" He questioned
"As of right now, I just need to get settled back again. I need my bike though. Can you help me with that?" I asked
"Your wish is my command Captain!" I chuckled at his childishness
"I will have them deliver within today," He added
"Thank you, Zander," I said appreciated
"Is that all Captain? I need to go back to the training center since I am currently the one overseeing the training," He said
Oh yeah, the training.
"I will come with, I wanna see what these people have on them," I grabbed a protein bar and followed him to the training center
Seriously I just got back and I can't even have a proper meal.
