Lan zhan and jiyang were both 11 and 13 years old children's who didn't know how to respond to such mockery and for lan zhan it was first time when someone was this mean to him and was disgusted by him for being a ger because at his palace apart from his uncle's occasional scoldings everybody loves and adores him
Lan zhan was very emotional and was trying so hard to not cry. Jiyang quickly picks the drawings from the ground and gave them to lan zhan and side hugged him patting his head
After some time they continues to look for the crown prince and at last found him with a servants help...
The crown prince was in his room he just returned back from his study room ... He here's a knock on the door and a guard informs him about lan zhan's presence..because everybody knows crown prince hates when someone comes in his room without his permission... But before he could give them his permission the doors was pushed opened and comes lan zhan who looks like a kicked puppy with teary eyes and red nose
Lan zhan runs and engulfed the crown prince in a hug and sits on his lap and after he felt the warmth he was looking for his tears starts flowing from his eyes and he starts crying hiding his face in the crook of the neck of the said prince
A hand soothes him slowly patting his head softly.... What happened....asked the prince
Lan zhan shakes his head as a no..his nose slightly brushes the neck of the prince while shaking his head ... Lan zhan's small arms where tightly clutched to the sides of prince's neck
After sometime lan zhan stops crying with occasional hiccups, then slowly let go of the prince's neck and sits comfortably on the prince's lap
Wei ge...*hiccups* am I stupid.... Pouts lan zhan
No... You are not... Said the prince
Am I a burden to you and not a good boy... Asked lan zhan again
Lan zhan is a good boy not a burden..... Answered the prince
After thinking for minutes lan zhan smiles and kisses the prince cheeks
I know that girl was lying .. Wei ge never lies * smiling* lan zhan is not stupid....lan zhan mumbles slowly
Wei ge.. I brought a gift for you and then lan zhan shows his drawings to the prince who slowly stares at the drawings for few minutes then puts them on the study table with no expressions
Lan zhan knows his Wei ge would not say anything but he still was expecting some praise.... Lan zhan boops the prince nose with his index finger and starts pouting
Wei ge.... U always do this to me... Huhh... Whines lan zhan and starts blabbering about the pranks he pulled on his family and people.... Forgetting all about being sad
Wei ying just listen to him talking with occasional nods and sometimes pats his head softly...
