Chapter 7 ~ What now?! ~

I respond to her hug and let out a small smile.

We break the hug shortly after.

"Tomorrow after school meet me and Dai-chan in the library" she chimes.

"Sure see you then" I give a small nod as I politely reply.

~The next day after school ~

"Y/n I can't believe you actually did that for me" Mai says for the 100th time today as she has a hopeful gleam in her eyes.

"Of course! Although I don't know if I'll regret my decision of agreeing to work with Aomine, he's quite annoying" I sigh as I shut my locker.

"EEEEE omg y/n hang in there! You got this!!" She encourages me as she squeezes me in a tight hug.

Of course she wants me to hang in there, I let out a small laugh.

I look at the excitement on Mai's face, it makes me feel happy too. Even though I'm doing something I don't particularly want to.

I guess you could say it works out for all parties.

He gets tutoring which makes Momoi happy, I get compensated with money and Mai hopefully gets closer to kise.

It's just a win win everywhere, well sort of except the part where I actually have to sit there and do the job.

But meh, I guess it could have been worse.

"Well Mai, I'll see you later don't want to be late for my first session" I smile and wave goodbye.

"See you Monday!!" She beams

"Don't die of happiness, remember you still have to meet him" I laugh at her excitement.

"I know I know" she brushes off.

"Anyway see ya!!" She waves and runs off.

Well I should probably get to the library.

~At the library~

"Y/n over here !" Momoi whisper shouts.

I walk over to her as she waves me over, I can see Aomine next to her with a foul expression sitting in a slumped position.

"Satsuki let me go home" he groans.

"Dai-chan you need to study as well as play basketball" she affirms.

Woah she sounds like his mum.

I smile at the both of them, not really knowing what to say.

"Not you again" he mumbles loud enough for me to hear.

I don't respond to his remark instead I look towards Momoi.

"Anyway, I'll leave it up to you two to arrange suitable dates and locations" she vocalises.

"Have fun!!!" She chirps as she skips off.

I stood there awkwardly, I thought she'd stay here for at least the first time.

"Sit then Dumb ass" Aomine says with irritation clearly heard in his tone.

"Ugh I can't now" I complain

He looks up at me confused.

"Huhhh why not? I'm not paying you to act like a mannequin" he loudly complains.

"Shhhhhhh" random people will on the tables next to us say annoyed.

"Tch, why can't you sit?" He whispers with the irritation in his tone growing.
