Jane got up cautiously from her bed to go see who it was. She would tell Will to get it but Will wasn't there and Jonathan was passed out. Hop and Joyce were sleep so that idea was gone.

Before she went to the front door, she hurried to the kitchen and grabbed a knife. She held the knife in her hand and walked toward the door. "Who is it?" She called.

"Mike."

She exhaled and rolled her eyes. She opened the door for him. "What the hell are you doing here at almost one in the morning?" She scolded.

Mike looked down at her hand and saw the knife she was holding. "Were you gonna stab me?"

"Not you— Why are you here?"

"I fucked up and I need to talk to Will. Please let me—"

"He's not even here."

"What? Where is he?" Mike asked.

"Some party with Lucas." She whispered.

"A party? He doesn't like parties!" He exclaimed.

"I know! Would you shut up?" She whisper shouted. "He was really upset and wanted something to distract himself."

"Oh." Mike said. "Can you stab me please?"

"Goodnight, Mike." Jane closed the door.
