A rainbow seems to fill the area.

From green grass to silver stone,

Blue water to pink flowers,

Yellow beehives to red poppies.

Birch trees,

Silver bark with black specks,

Mix with the delicate willows

Sturdy oaks, and fruit trees.

In the trees,

Red cardinals, silver mockingbirds, bluejays,

Yellow canaries, and brown robin redbreast

Make nest and lay eggs.

Beehives hum with activity,

Bees full of nectar eagerly

Putting it into honeycombs

To create honey

Peaches, plums, grapes

Apples, bananas, oranges

Lemons, limes, even olives

Grow on trees in plenty

Lettuces, cabbages, radishes

Potatoes, tomatoes, carrots

Pumpkins, strawberries, blueberries

Are ready for harvest.

Koi, scales catching in the sunlight,

Dance in the pond.

Rimmed with mossy stone,

The water glitters.

A koi jumps in the air

The orange patches along its sleek body

Like fire as it hits the crystalline water,

sending diamond shards scattering.

Birds sing, frogs jump

Fish swim, humans laugh.

From stone to tree to creature,

My Garden holds secrets.
