[2] - Wow, who can that intruder possibly be?

Start from the beginning

It was brightly glowing, the only thing that is shining in this deep dark forest and it was that thing. it appeared to be ready to swallow you alive... You looked at it with disgust, and then you swore in hushed tones and began running away from it, feeling the moist muck beneath you, which was slowing you down slightly. You turned around to see it chasing you, and you kept running, doing your best.

After a few seconds of reacting to this situation, you were breathing heavily, trying not to scream and hyperventilate uncontrollably, and you couldn't see any weapons around to make things more unpleasant. You weren't going to stop running until it gave up; you were sprinting through the path of the forest, careful not to stub your toe, and your running began the process of hurting you later on, but the leaf didn't stop. You were infuriated and saddened, and this is quite traumatic. "What if it never stops until my running becomes unbearably painful?" What exactly is it doing here, and what does it want from me?" The whispers within your brain were heard.

~[O/N]'s perspective~

Dear life, It's the middle of the night and I'm not supposed to be out here, I should've stayed with the cookie in our local basket, It's been minutes since I was chased by a leaf that's been controlled by an evil spirit; I'm not sure how long I've been sprinting for, but hopefully long enough to escape out of its sight. I can't look back because that's what slows me down, and I'm not sure where I am; I need to see Cookie again; I'm panicking so hard inside.

My body needed to itch which is pretty triggering, and the stamina felt like it cracked into fucking pieces after running from death, and not like some game of tag. Regardless if that leaf is still behind me or not, I think I should take a rest since all this running has left me fatigued, so I passed out. I then sensed someone walking towards me, which I initially thought to be the creature. But I'm too drowsy to pay attention.

~5 minutes ago, in cookie's perspective~

I awakened to the horrifying realization that [O/N] was nowhere to be seen beneath this basket. "Wait where's [O/N]... Have they already grown sick of me? This is not conceivable." I said to myself in the brain. I lifted my limbs and began to overthink, "Stupid cookie, think harder, Aren't I supposed to protect [O/N], If so, then I have no time for this stupid blabber," and then I've grown fully aware that I had no time for this because things between me and [O/N] had suddenly turned ominous. They may be stuck in some sort of danger right now and they're counting on me, so I had to get moving. I groaned as I struggled to stand up from the ground and observed how chilly it was outside. When I tried to fully raise my head, it bumped into the roof of the basket, causing my head to slightly hurt. The cold weather and [O/N] are outside, waiting for me.

I hesitated as I raised the basket with one arm since my eyes were still feeling heavy. My stomach felt dreadfully anxious as I laid my eyes on [O/N] being chased by something demonic. I don't want to deal with this because I still feel quite exhausted after my little nap, but I have to because I need to keep being on [O/N]'s good side at all times. I needed to act quickly on my thoughts, so my brain generated one that I immediately accepted. I quickly and forcefully grabbed the basket and flung it in the direction of the leaf.

When it turned out that I timed my throw perfectly, I mistakenly believed it had been struck by the basket. I brushed the perspiration from my brow and smiled in relief. However, I suddenly felt suspense and glanced back to see the genuinely angry leaf. In response, I reacted to it without showing any emotion and stomped on it without thinking about the consequences, and it immediately fell asleep, hopefully, it isn't alive. I couldn't understand how that could have even happened so rightly. However, it was shorter than I am so I guess it's reasonable. Now I'm heading off to grab [O/N].

Damn, I see this place as terrifying now.

Seeing [O/N]'s clear traces, I then proceeded to sprint in their direction. "[O/N], IT'S ME, COOKIE, AND I'VE JUST KILLED YOUR SLEEP PARALYSIS DEMON!" I spoke satisfyingly, but when they didn't reply, I scowled. Maybe they didn't hear me enough. And then I screamed weaker as I repeated myself a few times before giving up as my voice got huskier.
