After about five minutes the guard walks back in with my briefcase in his hand. He walks over to Lexi and hands it to her before hastily leaving

Lexi let's go of my chin but the butterflies stay. She brushes a spot on the floor with her foot and sits down. She places the case in front of her and faces it towards me. I drop off my knees and onto my ass.

"Open it, please?" She asks kindly and I look at her confused. I reach into my pocket and feel the USB stick still there and remember that the computer is wiped

"Fine" I say before taking my hand out my pocket and putting in the digits to open the case. I put in the final number and the lock pops off like a video game. Lexi turns the case around and opens it. Inside is my laptop that she opens to the factory setup screen

"Where's the files?" She asks confused and spins the computer around to face me. I remember that I've sent the files over to my teachers computer and the important ones on RedDot to my USB"Hell I don't know" I comment and Lexi moves the computer out of the way of us two and she moves in closer to me. She climbs onto my lap and faces me. She gently moves my face about

"What are you doing?" I ask. My face cupped in her right hand

"Looking at what I caused you" she replies.

After a couple minutes she gets up off me and stands back. She holds her hand out towards me and I grip it. She lifts me to my feet and I fall forward. She catches me by the arm and keeps me in right by the hips. Butterflies storm my stomach again as I get lost in Lexie eyes

"You alright?" She asks me in a soft voice. I CANT GET A CRUSH ON LEXI JOHNSON

"What, umm y-yeah I'm good" I say with my voice cracking

"Can you stand?" She asks concerned

"Maybe, you hit my legs hard" I complain and I see the guilt fill her eyes

She moves next to me and wraps my right arm over her shoulders. I put most my body weight on her and we start walking out of the cell

"Where are we going?" I ask curiously

"Getting you some medical help and a place to clean up. Don't want you to be in pain" she replies.

We leave the cell and the door slams behind me. We slowly waddle our way through the colourless corridor passing cells with people being beaten and tortured worse than I could ever imagine. We reach the bottom of the corridor after a short while

On the right is a set of steep steps protected by armed guards and in front of us is a room titled Infirmary

"Get the damn door" Lexi orders her guard. The guard jumps around us and the door flies open. In the guards hand is a sawed off double barrel. A guard carrying something a gang man would carry. Budget cuts hit hard this year

I slowly put more weight on my own legs as we waddle into the infirmary. As we enter a person in a red suit and mask runs up to us

"Get him on a-a bed, what happened?" The girl stutters as I throw myself onto a bed. The green curtains get pulled around me

"He's the one that we took in, he got the bat" lexi explains her voice filled with guilt

"Docs out, i-im going to have t-to do something" she keeps stuttering

"How long will he be?" Lexi asks, her eyes filled with worry

"I h-have no cl-clue Lexi" she says before looking at me

"What sh-

"Leave" The girl says not letting Lexi finnish her sentence

Lexi quickly leaves the medical room and I'm left alone with the girl

"Take off your h-hoodie please" she asks nicely and I take off my hoodie and place it next to me

My whole body is covered in bruises and marks. It looks that bad that even the girl looks like she scrunched her face up

"I ain't that ugly am I?" I ask sarcastically

"Yeah, you want a m-mask?" She asks playfully

"M-mask?" I imitate her. She goes from a happy expression to more of a pissed off one

"I d-don't mind messing ab-bout with you but never make fun of my st-tuttering" she demands in a serious voice

"Sorry" I reply

"Stay still" she demands before pulling a phone out of a draw. She points the camera at me and the flash goes off. The places the phone on the bed and starts feeling my ribs

"What are you doing? Why did you take a picture of me?" I ask with curiosity filling me

"I'm feeling for a b-broken rib, the photo is scanning you for m-medical logs and to see any int-ternal damages" she explains

"Fuck" I shout through my teeth. The pain building up from her pressing and rubbing my bruises

"Broken?" She asks

"Saw as hell" I reply

Suddenly lexi barges in. Fury and concern on her face

"I heard shouting" Lexi says. An Ak47 in her hands

"Just saw from the bruises" I explained

"I'm so sorry about that" she says, her eyes start to build up tears

"Say that on your knees" I reply pissed off from what she did and sarcastically

"Ain't the only time you want me on my knees is it?" She replies, a smug look on her face

"From the look of you your never off your knees anyway" I make a comeback. The girl checking me out bursts into laughter

"Fucking hell Darkside" she says in between laughs and deep breaths

"Been a while since I've seen you laugh RedDot" Lexi says and I realise who is in front of me. The feared hacker. The person I look up to

I look at Lexi and see her looking holding the bridge of her nose in annoyance

"No need to be mad about it, we were joking"

"shut uppp" Lexi begs. Her face berried into her hands

"You alright?" I ask concerned

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Lexi screams at me. She lifts the ak47 and points it at me. I life my hands above my head as my hands start to shake in fear

"Lower the gun Lex" RedDot demands

Lexi throws the gun over her shoulder and grabs onto the rifle sling

"When he's fixed he's going" Lexi states whilst pointing at me. She storms out the room and I slower my hands

"Somethings not right" I state the obvious

"Y-you think?" RedDot replies

"The laptop is empty" I say

"Oh I k-know. We need your IT te-teacher" RedDot says and my face drops. She's gonna get a quick death at best

"I'm exausted" I sight before laying on the bed properly

"Get some sleep, I-I'll be back tomorrow" RedDot says before walking out of the room

I close my eyes and gently fall asleep
