Once Again

Chapter : 14

Just after the lights went off tripura said

T : What the hell ? Whats wrong with this now

She switched on her cell phone's flash light and and started pressing those buttons randomly

K : What are you doing ? Stop pressing them I guess it happend because the construction work is still on we should have taken the stairs instead

Tripura turned to Karan and narrowed her eyes

T : Oh really was it possible for you to climb up to the 6th floor, when you don't able to climb up to the 2nd floor at a one go

K : Do you even care that ? That's absurd

T : What's so absurd about this haan actually this is my problem no matter what you do to me I will never be able to turn you down

K : I know I have made a mistake but just stop insinuating everytime you talk to me tripura for God's sake

T : Why ? Why would I slide it if you really wanted to stirring up our past you have to listen everything and tell me why you came here I know you did it intentionally because you are jealous seeing me with that guy right

K : Dont be stupid it's not out of jealousy I am doing because I am concern about you and I know you understand that pretty well so stop bottling up your emotions every time

And he looked away after said that

Tripura snots and replied

T : Do I have a right to share my emotions with you ? Just ask yourself Karan

And then she turned her back on his face

So karan got a little furiated he grabbed her hand firmly and turned her arround

K : Yes I cheated on you that night because I was out of my sense and your ignorance towards me was made me completely insane I thought you just want to let me down i thought we had lost our love somewhere because you was too focused about your career can't you remember dont how many nights have I waited awake for you but you did not came tipsy I used to feel lonely and let me tell you if I made a mistake you did too

The day you aborted our child wasn't that a mistake..you just disowned our relationship Do you think you are the only one suffering in life? Take a look at me and see do you feel I am okay

Karan grabbed her shoulder and jerked

K : Look into my eyes can you see any happiness there answer me now

He shouted

Tripura saw karan was sweating profusely

T : Karan calm down let's not talk about this we need to get out of here

K : No I wanted to talk about this now..When we were in a relationship, did you think that my love was just an act? You still know how much I loved you but no matter what you will turn me down just to satisfy your ego

Then Karan was started gasping and couldn't talk much

T : Karan please I said you to calm down you are palpitate have you taken your medicines why are sweating so much

Karan realesed her

K : You don't have be worry about that I am just fine

T : Take a deep breath you will be fine

Then she took a handkerchief out of her bag and was about to wipe his forehead but Karan grabbed his hand right away

K : Why are you doing this when you just hate me ?

T : Just cut that out for this moment

Then she gently wiped those sweat beads from his forehead

T : Take deep breath and try to normalize your heart beat everything will be fine soon

But Karan couldn't stand anymore his feet were feeling so weak so he kneel down

Seeing that tripura kneel down next to him

T : What is it Karan? Are you feeling uncomfortable..just loosen your shirt a little bit let me do it

Karan was feeling so sick at that moment as his head was spinning

Tripura unbuttoned his shirt a little and started fanning him with the handkerchief

In the next moment Karan rested his head on her shoulder

K : I am not feeling well tipsy just hold me close please

Tripura was about to encircle her hands arround but the elevator started working again

T : Are you okay ?

She asked

Karan took a deep breath and trying to get back to normal again

Once they reached to the 6th floor tripura said

T : You should go back to the hotel let me get a look arround here

And she was about to step outside but Karan hold her hand

K : I am not going anywhere? I will be with you no matter whatever it takes

Then they went in while they were looking arround they heard some footsteps approached

So karan saw a nearby room

K : Hey come inside

And they went inside the room but as soon as they got inside, they realized that people from outside were coming towards their house, so they both ran towards the balcony and hid behind a large shelf

The space behind the self was so narrow that they came very close to each other and the oozing sunray caught her sight and was making her so uncomfortable she was feeling a little dizzy when Karan noticed that he placed his hand on her face to protect

Their closeness made Tripura quite restless as she could clearly feel his breath on her neck as there bodies almost crushing into each other a platonic tension was arouse in her mind and she was feeling so dazed just then by mistake she dropped her phone on the ground and that sound alerted those guys

K : Oh shit why did you dropped that

He wishpered

T : I am sorry I..

K : Sshh I guess they are coming to this way

Then Karan hold her close and they shifted inside a little in between karan's lips touched her forehead and she trembled

Even after all these years, Tripura understood his touch still makes her very anxious even today she looked at Karan

K : I am sorry it happened by mistake

She exhaled a short breath and looked away

T : Its fine

They both were feeling so awkward but still it was a comforting moment for them
