Chapter 14

The Straw Hat didn't move from his spot and in one single motion (Y/n)'s arms were around his shoulder as she threw herself at him, The same moment he felt her warmth was the same moment he heard her screams

"(Y/n)?!" He looked down at her in worry only to see her back covered in four slits that bleed so much his palms were stained, Peremntily in his memories, Anger flowing through his veins he reached out his right hand into space and surprisingly his palm grabbed Kuro's collar

Luffy's round eyes stared at Kuro's white once. He'll beat him up into a pulp if only he had the time "AHH" He screamed from the top of his lungs as he threw the Pirate over his shoulder making him crash into the ground which bent into the shape of his face

"Found you..." He glared at the man, Luffy's left arm held (Y/n)'s lower back as she was pushed into his shoulder

"Bastard" Smirked Kuro as he stood up "You should've let yourself be cut like a good boy!" Straightening up the Straw Hat glared down at the cat while pulling the (H/c) closer to him as she tried to regain consciousness "Thanks to you, My adorable men and the girl are left alive and in agony..."

Looking weakly over her Captian's shoulder (Y/n) noticed Kuro's men, in fact, Left alive in agony "It would've been better for them to die in the attack! Now what? You look like you have something to say..." He stood up while wobbling a bit

"Yeah..." Luffy looked to the side, A small frown on his face while looking at the girl in his arms before pulling her closer, Careful not to touch her wounds "...I will never be-" He took the hat off and placed it on her head before looking at Kuro "-A man like you"

"Not 'Will'" Corrected Kuro as he looked at Luffy before pointing the ends of his claws at his face "Someone like you can't be like me!" The open-eyed look that Luffy was giving Kuro pissed him off "Especially since you're going to die here-" He pulled away his weapon and walked up to the hill "-While you writhe in agony as I hack you up like raw fish"

Standing at the top of the slope with shadow over his eyes Kuro lowered his head "I'm going to painstakingly crave you up as a special treat, And kill that girl as well, Rather painfully may I add"

"No, you don't!" Luffy screamed his fist flying toward Kuro who disappeared

"OUT OF THE BACK ATTACK"

More screams were heard from the bottom of the slope to which Luffy pulled (Y/n) closer, His eyes traveled around the hill before deciding to set her against its side

"Stay safe..." He mumbled under his breath, (Y/n) was now leaning against the side of the hill, A Straw Hat secured on top of her head and with her eyes opening slowly "Alright!" Standing up before fist-bumping himself Luffy smirked "Let's go!"

Appearing before Luffy Kuro glared at him and just as he appeared before him he disappear, Looking behind his shoulder the Straw Hat saw Kuro standing not far from him "Tired?" He asked before turning around "The Out-Of-The-Back attack does have a lot of unnecessary movements"

"Don't get cocky" He fixed his glasses, But now with both of his hands "Everything so far has been playtime, You get the special treatment" He lowered his hands before glaring at him "I'm going to let you taste plenty of fear, Then slowly cook you!"

"OUT OF THE BACK ATTACK"

He disappeared. But somehow Luffy could see him run, Around the walls, Next to (Y/n), In front of the Pirates, and then around him.

Luffy's hand stretched to reach Kuro who just turned around but was grabbed by the ankle and crashed into the ground sending a loud boom through the air

When the smoke settled (Y/n)'s eyes narrowed a bit when she noticed Luffy's hands around Kuro's shoulders as well "Just try your footing technique now!" Luffy laughed as he was holding Kuro tightly in his grasp
