Introduction - Pt. Whatever at This Point

Start from the beginning

I set Wind down on the ground.

"Why'd you put him down?!" Tetra yelled at me.

Mask picked Wind up off the ground.

As Tetra scolded me for what I just did, which I was completely ignoring, I spun around and grabbed her, holding her squished between my chest and my arms.

"Hey! I'm no baby! Put me down right now!" She tried to break out of my hold.

I heard Mask softly giggle.

Eventually, after she got all her yelling and screaming out by inserting it into my ears, she calmed down and let me hold her.

Actually, she had fallen asleep.

She didn't really snore, but it was more of a mutter than speaking, too, so I don't know.

I couldn't even understand what she was saying.

By the time we arrived at Castle Town, between all the breaks and the fact we were walking, it ended up being around midnight when we arrived at the gate.

"Is this...Is this really it?" Mask asked me, "It looks so...familiar. So does Hyrule Field. I don't even understand why..."

"Maybe you live in a place that looks like Hyrule?"

"Maybe..."

The gates were opened, for some reason.

As we walked in, I heard an unfamiliar voice sound next to me.

"Ah!" Wind rolled out of Mask's arms.

"Oh my gods! Are you okay?" Mask hurried up and asked him.

"Who the hell are you guys?! Where am I?! Am I dead?! Am I a ghost?!" Wind panicked, trying to push himself up off the floor, but failing miserably and just landing back on his belly.

"I'm Link. This is Mask." I introduced myself and Mask.

Mask gave a friendly wave and a smile to signify he was nice.

"Ugh...My chest really hurts..." Wind rolled over onto his back and rubbed his own chest, "Why'm I soaked- OH MY DEAR MOTHER OF HYLIA-!"

"Wind, calm down!" Mask told him.

Wind continued to panic, and when he looked down at his now-red tunic, fainted at the sight of all of his blood.

Mask sighed.

"I tried." He said.

"Huh? What's goin' on?" Tetra asked, yawning.

"Wind just woke up for a minute, then passed out after seeing all his blood." I said.

"Wind? Who's- LINK!" Tetra jumped out of my arms and ran to her partner.

Wind woke up a few minutes later.

"Tetra?" He asked.

"Link!" Tetra hugged him, completely disregarding the amount of blood that soaked each of their clothes.

"You're hurt..." Wind held Tetra away from him, "You have to bandage them, or they'll get infected and you could die."

"You're the one who took more of a blow than I did!" Tetra told him.

"But that's okay. I just don't want you to get hurt. Why didn't you let me handle it?"

"Link, you would've been killed. You shed so much blood in that camp that you passed out. I couldn't let you fight, because if I stayed back like you wanted, I would've just watched you die."
